As above. i don't like them and when my last one went belly up I went without one for about 3 years. I got a basic one from Sainsbury's a few months back, I thought it would be useful for porridge and melting butter.
but I hate the thing. i just done some soup in it for a early lunch as I am at work for 12 and the thing stopped dead in the middle of cooking.

I switched it off at the mains and carried on heating the soup up on my cooker.

I just stuck a jug of water in the oven, switched it back on and it is working again. I think it went off balance as it is on two pieces of wood on top of the freezer and one foot had slipped of.

Still hate the things. this will be the last one I will buy.
