Has anybody used a portable wifi hard drive for their iPad?
Hi I got an Apple iPad air 16gb space gray yesterday and was wondering if anybody had ever used a portable wifi hard drive and if they were any good. I won't use it much only if I go away for a few days for a break.
I am thinking of getting this Kingston Wi-Drive 32gb for £47.98 http://www.dabs.com/products/kingsto...ves&origin=pla I know it would have been better to get a higher capacity iPad air but I had already spent £399 on the iPad and got a smart case £65 and didn't want to spend anymore. Any replies or comments would be appreciated. |

Isn't the one where you can swap out cards more flexible?

Yes, I got the Maxell Air Stash for use on holiday earlier this year, and it worked brilliantly. With the small caveat that you have to be using file formats that Apple devices can read.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Best thing about this model, is that you can swap out SD cards from its base. So you can have some TV on one, and let's say your days photos on the other, which you can then view on your iPad without actually taking them onto the device. |
