8 Sophie - something seems to be wrong

In terms of enjoyment:

Patrick & Anya - Quickstep (my favourite as well, loved it!)
Ashley & Ola - Tango (I'm not keen on Ashley but enjoyed this routine)
Ben & Kristina - Paso Doble (I'm a sucker for Ben and he did move throughout this routine ... )
Natalie & Artem - Viennese Waltz (very beautiful)
Mark & Iveta - Paso Doble (memorable even if for the wrong reasons)
Susanna & Kevin - Charleston (Kevin! )
Abbey & Aljaž - Rumba (another beautiful dance)
Dave & Karen - Jive (I didn't get to vote tonight but had I done so I would have voted for Dave. Liked the routine and he did his best.)
Rachel & Pasha - American Smooth (improved but a bit boring)
Fiona & Anton - Charleston ( Ok but a bit boring)
Sophie & Brendan - Jive (not as bad as I expected from comments, but I thought Sophie could do a jive given her charleston and was disappointed)

For enjoyment purposes only:-

Natalie - Though not a strict VW

Patrick - played to his strengths - clever Anya
Susannah - Bit slow though
Rachel --- because she managed a proper dance at last

Abby -- Don't like Rumbas, not keen on Abby
Ashley -- A little bit meh! for me

Ben -- No shaping though -- apart from the body

Sophie -- Too soft again -- not enough attack
Fiona - soft shoe shuffle here as well

Mark - WTF

Dave - WTF +

Natalie - The first time I've actually enjoyed one of her dances - Artem's choreography made this beautiful.

Ashley - I quite liked this actually, one of his best yet.
Rachel - This surprised me, I really enjoyed it - I'm glad the judges were nicer to her.
Susanna - She's Susanna. Case dismissed.

Abbey - I liked it, but I found it a bit... strange honestly.
Ben - Had plenty of attack - an enjoyable performance.
Fiona - A nice bit of fun.
Patrick - There's something I don't like about him, but I can't name it

Sophie - I really didn't like this. Nuff said.
Mark - Salsambacha, but not a Paso Doble.
Dave - Getting old now.

Natalie & Artem. Beautifully atmospheric dance

Ashley & Ola.
Patrick & Anya
Abbey & Alijaz

Ben & Kristina
Rachel & Pasha
Susanna & Kevin - Looked more like an out of hold QS with lifts & a tiny bit of Charleston
Fiona & Anton - Loved Fiona's swivels, very 20s style.
Sophie & Brendan - Must wardrobe emphasise her weaknesses.
Mark & Iveta - Not Iveta's normal standard of choreography.

1-Abbey's rumba, technically perhaps not the best but so, so beautiful
2-Natalie's Viennese waltz, again, very beautiful but didn't move me the same way as Abbey's
3-Susannah's charleston, nice enough dance, traditional charleston
4-Patrick's quickstep, stupidly overmarked but still quite good
5-Ashley's tango, his head placement and neck annoyed me at times, during turns it became crooked but it was okay, I thought he'd have acted it better though
6-Fiona's charleston, I thought her swivel action was some of the best, agreed with Len (for once) about being a traditional charleston
7-Rachel's AS, kinda dull, definitely better though, forgettable
8-Sophie's jive, sadly, I thought it started well and thought she could do well, but no...
9-Ben's paso, very poor, no attack, hidden by an apparently nice chest
10-Mark's paso, dear god, I love him but good lord
11-Dave's jive, ghastly, not even funny, fitting for Halloween though - frightening.

Natalie - more DWTS Waltz than standard VW, and it had a few too many embellishments, but I liked the general flow of the routine and Natalie is just good.
Ashley - bits in hold weren't amazing, but I thought it was pleasant enough.
Abbey - dance was missing 'something', it passed me by a bit. not too bad, and certainly one of the better ones on a very mediocre night.

Patrick - it wasn't as bad as many of the others, and it was 'fun' enough, but it was rather gappy.
Fiona - meh forgettable but at least recognisable dance with some recognisable moves even if they were executed a little lacklustrely.
Rachel - 'nice' and at least flattering routine but, um, clearly not that memorable as evidenced by me forgetting to put it in the list!
Susanna - gurny, lumbersome, had some decent energy but that's about it.
Ben - rigid torso, weird arm placement, mainly a prop for Kristina to dance around.
Mark - weird theming: disco paso idea just doesn't work. hideous outfit distracted from dancing much. dance barely recognisable.
Sophie - seriously underwhelming. no bounce. no kicks, flicks. really, just not good at all.
Dave - no

Edit: Oh I forgot Rachel...

1 - Natalie & Artem - There was a little too much dancing out-of-hold for my liking, but I still thought it was absolutely stunning to watch.
2 - Abbey & Aljaz - Even though her hip action was rather poor, there was something very 'wow' about this dance for me.
3 - Patrick & Anya - It was great to see him have a real breakthrough in ballroom, and I really liked his dancing for the first time.

4 - Ashley & Ola - His best dance in my opinion, although he really does need to sort out his head when in-hold.
5 - Susanna & Kevin - The best of an average bunch for me - she was quite stompy in places and it was all slightly hectic, but not bad.
6 - Ben & Kristina - I'm surprised to put him so high, but I thought he did a pretty good job, actually. Was there any need to go shirtless though?
7 - Rachel & Pasha - Like Patrick, it was definitely her best dance. It was slightly dull, however, which an American Smooth shouldn't be.
8 - Fiona & Anton - Her technique was probably better than Anton's, but it was seriously boring to watch for me.
9 - Sophie & Brendan - I like these two but they are going from disappointment to disappointment this series. It started well, and just descended into a mess.

10 - Mark & Iveta - Er... it was better than Dave's?
11 - Dave & Karen - There are no words.

1 - Patrick & Anya - Favourite dance of the night for me. I absolutely loved it. Great choreography and fabulous song. Surprisingly (for me anyway) it's the only dance which I've re-watched on iplayer.

2 - Natalie & Artem - Great dance but imho it wasn't a VW.

Those were the best dances of the night for me, the rest I thought were instantly forgettable

3 - Abbey & Aljaz - Wasn't her best dance but, I do like her.
4 - Ashley & Ola - I couldn't make out whether it was supposed to be a tango or paso. Whatever it was, it was performed well and I did enjoy it.
5 - Rachel & Pasha - She's my "love to hate" but, I was pleased she got through it and was smiling at the end. I was a bit puzzled at so many lifts and it reminded me of DOI when the skater can't skate so the pro carries them around the ice.
6 - Ben & Kristina - I can see some improvement and thought he did well with the cape. I would have preferred to see him wearing a bolero jacket

7 - Susanna & Kevin - I have a blank with Susanna and last night was no exception. The high placement is for the great song, the routine itself I remember as being very poor. As someone posted elsewhere Patrick's QS (not this clumsy attempt at the Charleston) should have closed the show.
8 - Sophie & Brendan - Brendan's choreography for this reminded of the routine he did with Michelle. Sadly, Sophie isn't as "kooky" as Michelle so the awful technique and lack of content wasn't masked by the performance.
9 - Fiona & Anton - I like Fiona and she's done wonders for Anton's street cred, but, once again it highlighted that unless it's ballroom Anton can't choreograph for toffee.
10 - Mark & Iveta - I LOVE Mark but, that was poor. The outfit, the choreography even the performance aspect of the routine was bad. Mark is better than this and up until last night I could see improvement. Iveta has a "Chris Hollins" type partner if she concentrates on showing off how well he's doing rather than playing it for laughs.
11 - Dave & Karen - No longer funny and doesn't look as if he's trying. Sadly I think he's here for a few more weeks.

Patrick & Anya - Quickstep 1 - think the dance-off must've inspired him

Next my upper half - sound but all had some flaws either in choreography or performance - tied on 2
Abbey & Aljaž - Rumba
Natalie & Artem - Viennese Waltz
Susanna & Kevin - Charleston
Ashley & Ola - Tango
Rachel & Pasha - American Smooth

Lower half - not terrible, not good - 3
Fiona & Anton - Charleston
Ben & Kristina - Paso Doble

Iveta, what were you THINKING? Sophie, you're being paid to do this so could you TRY? - 4
Mark & Iveta - Paso Doble
Sophie & Brendan - Jive

Getting beyond a joke now - 5
Dave & Karen - Jive

Ashley & Ola - Ola looked demented and he performed it well, even if the technique needed polishing. For a theme week it was everything I wanted

Natalie & Artem - Loved it apart from that one bit where it was the two of them flicking their wrists at the camera, one after the other, about 6 times

Fiona & Anton - SWIVVEL

Patrick & Anya - Bags of energy, Anya looked bizarre and amazing, still not in love with how he looks in hold

Abbey & Aljaz - Mostly for the music and the fact that I didn't mind her in Latin for once.

Rachel & Pasha - Good for her. It was a bit wobbly, but she's clearly not the complete "just a bit better than Dave" write-off everyone was painting her as after last week.

Mark & Iveta - I don't care, I still LOL'd

Susanna & Kevin - Lame, and the show needs to realise it can't successfully make people up as werewolves and not even try.

Dave & Karen - The choreography was awful and the dance was dull, but for the first time in Latin, I felt like he was trying really hard to dance it properly. Whatever it was.

Sophie & Brendan - I actually liked her part more than I did her cha cha last week, but Brendan's over-acting marred it for me. Really felt like he was trying to distract from her shortcomings and it was just making them look worse.

Ben & Kristina - Yawn. Put 'em away love.
