I suppose not but a mistake is a mistake, it's not like anyone does it on purpose.

Of course I can't actually think of something I have said wrong but I know I have occasionally used a wrong word and made a sentence unintentionally hilarious

So given the number of mistakes and wrong words Bruce uses, we should all be falling off our sofas laughing, rather than throwing cushions at the telly?

I wish he would go and take Len with him they are both way passed their sell by dates.

Perhaps we should invest in some of these to throw at the TV when to save our sanity.

An excellent plan, but don't give the supermarkets ideas! Watch out for the "Throw this at Fforsyth on the Telly" emblazoned across cushions, T-shirts, sweat shirts and bags.

If they do Doghouse, you should claim royalties on the idea. Should be a nice little earner.

If I make a mistake, I get very annoyed with myself. I regard it as being incompetent.

If Fforsyth makes a mistake he tries to turn it into a joke - he's not sorry at all. We're all supposed to laugh at it

I get annoyed when I make a mistake too Janet, but Sir Bruce's put on slip ups are all part of his act on Strictly Come Dancing.

I'm thinking about getting a 'Brucie Bonus' T-Shirt to watch the show in Janet, I'm hoping they are not sold out though.

Brilliant! I'm sure we can come up with a lot of useful objects to have at hand while watching, muting of FFing.

None must have the word "Hate" on them - that's reserved for paedophiles, racists, wife beaters, abusers of old people and those who are cruel to animals.

I think a pair of fancy noise cancellers (ear muffs) would also make a useful addition to viewing essentials.

HE'S OFF NEXT WEEK!!!!!! So there's plenty of time for getting essential viewing accessories - A WHOLE FORTNIGHT!!!!.

If anybody can persuade me that the Winkle woman is more entertaining than Brucie I would be surprised. She may be more competent but it is an entertainment show.

Tess an Claudia for all their perceived faults aren't constantly in your face as is the irascible geriatric. So they'll do for me.

It's the only show I actual watch all the way through, even if Len does try to do "a bit of a Brucie" and is therefore annoying.

I fast-forwarded Bruce's bits as always so I can't comment on his jokes or introductions, but I notice that Len said they had been told to be quick with their comments, rather than the producers telling Bruce not to act like a 5th judge and keep butting in.

Roll on next week when he's off again, my fast-forwarding thumb can have a night off.

I don't know about the show but I wonder where he got his knighthood from. I bet Liz can't stand him.

Bruce did steal the show and we must insist he gives it back minus his fingerprints

Bruce's cheesy jokes are his thing, he's not changed that in 60 years of broadcasting

But it was a sad sight to see him struggling with the cue cards, he might want to think of retiring. It looks to me like the BBC are worried about the show should it not be hosted by Brucie. I think when he does go, Tess should go too, get Claudia on the main show as she's not only a much better presenter, she really loves the programme too, find a decent male counterpart to host with her, perhaps Cheggers (joke) and the show will go on.
