Any one who thinks a thread is representative is kidding themselves.
Overall only a small percentage of people visit here and then only a small amount post.
I am surprised a small minority keep posting too get Bruce to go, only on person will influence that and that's Bruce.”
Your post is just as unscientific!
Yes the sort of folk who post on here are computer savvy super fans, be they pro or anti Bruce, and yes they are not that representative of the viewing population.
However having been a member on here for many years, I have been amazed at how the numbers of those who wish to see the back of Bruce have increased, particularly this year - his supporters whilst loyal and vocal have been declining year on year, and some who were quite strong supporters in years past have switched camps over the last couple of years.
Those who support him cannot fail to see just how much he has declined in the last couple of years - check out the YouTube clips of even two or three years ago, and you can't fail to see just how he has gone downhill - never mind what he was like in series 1 or 2!
His timing has gone, he can no longer manage to come down the main staircase, he needs Tess to help him manage the few stairs from the stage to the dance floor, and he clearly has trouble reading the autocue. The way he spoke about the floor manager who was telling him he was talking to the wrong camera was downright rude, and his ever increasing rudeness towards the panel is noticeable.
Check out Terry's thread about who's missing Brucie - and see just how many people on there including long time lurker a and those who have never expressed an opinion before have spoken. Bruce is losing popularity at a rate of knots with his bumbling, fumbling performances.
Listen to the drinking fountain or kitchen conversations about TV at work - those I have heard nearly all say that Bruce should call it a day!
