Natalie and Artem, Abbey and Aljaz will be on ITT tonight so we should know theirs then, if not before.

If that's true then it looks like life isn't going to get easier for Sophie any time soon.

When was the last time Brendan danced the Argentine Tango? Was it as long ago as Lisa Snowdon?

Lisa's AT was a total gangly mess as well.

If I remember rightly, that was also the first time that Brendan danced the Argentine Tango!

EDIT: Yes, according to both Monkseal and Strictly Come Bitching series 6 (with Lisa Snowdon) was indeed the first (and presumably, last!) time Brendan danced the AT.

Yeah, Lisa Snowdon was the last partner he danced the Argentine Tango with

I bet its just the tango and he got confused.

It would be really odd for Sophie to have to do the AT (after already being the first to do the charleston).

Especially since she hasn't done the ballroom tango yet (which is kinda the reverse scenario).

The backlog of proper ballroom dances is growing and growing (if this turns out correct).

We were spoilt with Sophie's Charleston. I did not enjoy Susanna's at all and even though Fiona was quite sweet in hers, it wasn't great.

I really hope Aljaz comes up with a great routine and Abbey really goes for it.

I am very interested to see how Aljaz is going to choreograph this one . They are on ITT today so we will know more about it

Yeah, I got one right!

Decent dance to get the bottom two bounce for (as it is out of hold for most the time), but a fast latin would have been more ideal for her.

Think that the people to get a latin next week (Blackpool) could be in trouble, as to me that week is much more ballroom orientated.

According to Wikipedia, Susanna said she had the paso on Breakfast this morning - can anyone verify this?

It does seem quite likely that it is ballroom tango and there's been a mistake. Her uncle on a local radio station doesn't seem like the most reliable of sources.

I was wondering if we'd see any Argentine Tangos this year since the show has lost its only two experts in that dance and it felt a bit like it was being fazed in the last series. Out of all the finalists only Dani actually danced the Argentine Tango (and Louis a bit if you count his Fusion) and I think there were only three other celebrities overall who danced it.

I'm not convinced Abbey will be able to do a good Charleston at all. She doesn't really gurn or even act very much at all and the swivel action will probably elude her.

We will saturday, wont we ? You never know, she may surprise you

Prior to week 1, I never thought that Charleston was going to be Sophie's dance and then week 2 comes and She knocks it out of the park, still in awe of that dance ; You just never know what dances are going to suit some people.

Abbey may be very good at it, you just never know; we will see.

Ooooooooh I am very excited to see this dance . AT is my favorite dance and I am sure that Sophie can be very good at it IF Brendan choreograph something beautiful.

Btw, I thought that his AT with Lisa was very overrated , we will see though.

But, Go Sophie !!!

I think Sophie will indeed just have ballroom tango - if any of the unannounced dancers are doing AT it'll most likely be Natalie.

Interesting to see how AS falls for Patrick... he should be able to bring us the 'wow'ness with the lifts but slower ballrooms don't seem to have been his forte so far.

I think it sounds like there are going to be some lovely dances this week, and potentially some that really give people the chance to do the 'proper' dance after the gimmicks last week. Charleston is a great dance for Abbey to come back from the b2 with and will give her the chance to show a different side. I know every Charleston is going to be compared to Sophie this year, but it is still the chance to do a really popular massively high-scoring dance. I can't think of a fast dance that would be better for her.

Also QS great for Ashley, AS should be another strong one for Patrick, as he can do a ballroom with a lot out of hold (don't think he as good in hold), and I'm tempted to say the tango could be good for Sophie - dramatic rather than bouncy - but I'm not quite sure.

I wonder if Abbey will show enough personality in the Charleston will be interesting to see

A non-gurning Charleston would be a treat. That's why I enjoyed Sophie's so much, no distorted faces and exaggerated expressions à la Hollins/DVO. It could be a good dance for Abbey and show her sense of fun.
