You may be right of course, but there are limits! What is difficult to ascertain of course, exactly how many more would still be attracted to the dance show, who have stopped watching in their droves, to make way for the " great unwashed"......

Admit it, you really want a return to Come Dancing with Peter West.
Then we could have the Women's Institute formation team from Tumbridge Wells, they sewed on all their sequins by hand you know.

Where do you get off being so judgmental And no I dont vote for Dave....not because I wouldn't or shouldn't but simply because I dont find him very entertaining and his comedy routine's are overdone. But I think you are the one out of step with what Strictly is all about, maybe its not really the show for you.

Grow up, why do we always have to go from one extreme to another on these forums....?

Exactly!

I love it when "feast or famine" are offered as the only alternatives when someone is presenting a weak argument

DS wouldn't be the same without them.

I agree.

Far too much faffing about and all the trivial drivel in between dances.

I don't know any of the music either. I like "proper" dance music.

But I wouldn't miss watching for the world. I love it warts and all.

I don't mean this disparagingly, but the producers will be after whatever audience they can get. As long as they can maximise it.

Let's not forget, it is an entertainment show with a dance element so is always going to walk the middle line.

I know there are some that say but it's a DANCE COMPETITION.

It isn't. It's Saturday Night light entertainment. In the same way that I'm A Celebrity isn't a survival show or Britain's Got Talent has anything to do with talent. Or Britain.

That said. As an entertainment show I love it.

Of course I can help it, but I dont take kindly to being firstly insulted and then patronized. Seriously take a look at your own posts to others before you criticize.

And when we are talking about common sense...in what world is your view of strictly the only one to have when 10 million+ viewers are watching it because of what it is...........a family entertainment show.
