6th Feb Corrie
I had never heard of the director of this episode - but I thought it was a very good episdode!
Nice to see the kids involved so much more, especially sweet Chesney - his poster - awww... Good to see Cilla isnt completely mean Ian and Sally were good for once Nice to see Sean used more, especially him in another household, and Tommy putting up with him Tommy hitting Craig - how mean! Cilla and the dog psychic - recently it's been clear what a fantastic addition to the cast her [and Chesney] have been to the soap - well done Tony Wood |

Excellent episode tonight. The comedy at the beginning. The drama at the end. Ian and Sally in the middle, lol
. We had it all tonight.

I thought Corrie was quite funny today, typical Jonathan Harvey
![]() I loved the scenes between Tommy/Angela/Sean, they were really funny at times, especially Sean's line about "The National Union of Thick Working Class Twits, Founder Member Tommy Harris" ![]() I thought the Chesney scenes were really sweet (bless his poster!), and the Rosie/Craig stuff was really funny. How much more sleazy can Ian be though?! ![]() Laura xx |

Todays episode was excellent! I couldn't stop laughing at the stuff in the Harris household, especially what Sean was saying to Tommy and then Tommys and Angelas row, i loved it when he went back in the house, shouted something, then she appears out of the door so quickly and shout back! LOL
I was so shocked though when Tommy hit Craig

I don't think any character in any soap I have ever watched has ever brought forth more hatred from me than that evil, mouthy bitch Cilla! And as for saying Cilla was not being completely mean, you jest. She only wants to get Chesney's dog back so she can re-sell it. £1000 she is thinking she can get for him. Cow!
And Sally and wotsisname make me want to puke. Whatever is up with her, he is so slimey, smug and an utter creep!

Something about that man telling Sally he doesn't like purple then taking the topic off... *shudders*.
Yeah, it was a funny episode. |

A good episode tonight. Loved the comedy especially Sean at the Harris's. I think Cilla is more interested in the £1,000 that Kirk was talking about than being kind to Chesney.

Very funny scenes in the Harris household with Sean. Craig and Rosie were great too. Shocked at Tommy hitting Craig. It was quite a punch.

I loved the bit about the dog psychic and Kirk being devastated that Scooby Doo was dead

I liked this bit with Cilla and Kirk:
"You smell nice today, Kirk" "Fizz says I smell like putty" "I like putty" PMSL

I missed the first half (have to catch it all again on ITV2), but couldn't believe Tommy's performance in the second. He's seriously lost the plot.

Excellent episode tonight. Some very funny lines in the first half, especially from Sean and Cilla
![]() Rosie and Craig were sweet and funny again. Tommy's growing rage was excellently portrayed, as was the punch. Very realistic last couple of scenes. |

excellent episode tonight, loved every bit of it. The sally/ian thing seemed really sleazy!
Glad to see no Tyronne/Stuart/Maria, the 3 that really bored parts of corrie for the past two weeks. |

I read in the News of the World Magazine today that the because the producers of Corrie know that the public love Les Battersby they have told him that he has a job for life if he wants it.
I am now very very depressed. Will Tommy be reported for Child Abuse? |

I don't think Les is as bad as people make out. The actor is capable of something other than shouting and his scenes with Chesney are often great.

If Les being in the show = more Cilla, then I can cope with Les staying. Also it is good to have a few newer "veterans" who have been there quite a long time.
I agree with HellBoy that without Maria/Tyrone taking centre stage, Corrie has picked up sharply in the last few episodes. |

Tonights episode was fab I have to say. I couldn't stop laughing at Sean in the Harris house. Tommy: "You can come with me, or be stuck here all day with Will and Grace" lmao And Sean's line to Tommy was brilliant. Also Tommy and Angela's row was quite funny too.
Although it all ended in tears, Tommy' punching his son out, shocking! |

I agree, a fabulous episode. And even though we knew that punch was coming, it was still a bit of a shocker. Superb.

Great episode tonight. The Sunday episodes are always very comedy-based, whereas last year they were nothing more than filler episodes.
Can't wait for the twist in the story (which, for the benefit of the people who don;t want to know, i wont mention) that is coming tomorrow night. It all looks set to kick off then. Although it looks like we're in for more tantrums from Katy tomorrow from the way tonight was shaping up |

Loved tonight's episode, much better than last Sundays
Any episode with Cilla in is great IMO, I think she's hillarious like tonight when; FIZ: My Kirk's a dog lover, he loves dogs! CILLA: You don't say!

Excellent episode, although I'm with pistonbroke on the Les Battersby news
It moved along at a cracking pace/Very funny lines, Sean in the Harris household was class, also the argument between Tommy and Angela at the door yelling this at each other. Rawsie and Craig were also excellent, the punch, which I knew was coming still managed to be shocking. Another plus point was I managed to hold onto my supper during the Ian/Sally scenes *insert vomit smilie* |
