Hey everyone;

Anton will be doing a nationwide tour called, "Ballroom to Broadway" & he is coming to Belfast in January.

Was thinking of ordering a couple of tickets as a Christmas present for my mum but I'm wondering if anyone here has ever been to any of Anton's shows before?

If so, would you recommend it? Tickets range from £29.50 to £44.50 Worth the money in your opinion?

Brendan is doing a tour as well it seems, "Licence to Thrill" Anyone been to his shows?

Been to Brendan's shows every year and they are absolutely terrific. I took my Mum. Tremendous value because he is on stage virtually the whole time. He comperes it beautifully and has a large and very good band on stage. Can't recommend it highly enough. Am going twice in the New Year.

I haven't seen Anton's show because he isn't my thing, but I do know somebody who has. They enjoyed it but said there was a lot of filler from other dancers.

I have had very good reports from Vincent and Flavia.

Saw Licence To Thrill earlier this year - thought it was great. A fantastic band and fabulous singers add to the dancing. Am tempted to go again next year

I saw Anton and Erin a few years ago at the Barbican and it was a beautiful show. They did the ballroom numbers while Jacqui and Chris who have choreoed salsas etc on SCD did the Latin bits, it was very enjoyable, also a very good vocalist and band.

I really do not know what to think about Anton on his OWN though while Erin is out of action for obvious reasons. He is not a solo dancer and it seems strange to me.

Thanks Good to hear that Brendan was on stage for most of the show. That is what worried me a bit about these type of shows. I've seen clips of Vincent & Flavia's show and it does look brilliant.

Going to see Anton and Erin's Christmas show...next month! First time, so looking forward to it.

Penelope, is it true that Brendan is very honest about some of his past celebrity partners during his shows, and if so, would you care to share any of his thoughts? : )

Oh, that sounds juicy if true

I think I remember reading somewhere that Anton has a different partner (i.e. not Erin) for this tour, but that once Erin is back dancing again they'll tour together again.

Summer Strallen (who starred with Tom Chambers in Top Hat) is joining Anton for next years tour I believe.

Pasha and Katya are touring this spring as well

Have seen Anton and Erin show twice over the last few years and it was great. Both are good entertainers and chat to the audience too. The support dancers, singer and band were so professional. Enjoy

They also feature on P & O cruises a couple of times a year.

Thanks for all your comments guys. Touch choice as my mum likes Anton & Brendan bit I think she likes Anton a little bit more so I'll be buying tickets to his show. Watching him dance tonight with Iveta was lovely and that kinda made my mind up also. I'll be getting two tickets so hopefully she takes me with her! lol

I've been to 2 of Brendan's shows, both excellent and highly recommended. Yes, he answers audience questions very frankly, including 'which of your celebs has had the most botox?'
Also a short scottish lady comes in for particular mention in his shows
