Opening our Trick or Treat show tonight, it's the first of David's Boys.
He's straight from Australia, losing out in the week before the Quarter Final. But tonight, he's back and ready to show DS what the wonderful land of OZ is all about! Please welcome... Omar Dean http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kpcyp2xGcas |

Omar I was so excited that you had been picked for this competition.....and you have not dissapointed. David, what a fantastic choice you just gave. That suited you so well Omar, and your vocals were great. Loved your higher register and what an amazing way to open the show and the series. Great job, and unless the other boys are as good or better, I think you deserve the free pass to next week!!! |

Hey Omar, welcome to the live shows man and I'm glad that David chose you for his category. I can see straight away that he has got you off to a great start. The song was a cool choice for your voice and you put your emotion on the notes to make it a great opener for tonight's show. It's early days but I'm sure you'll be back here next week whatever happens.

Omar, firstly mate welcome to the live shows. I think that was a very nice performance tonight, nice song choice there from your mentor. It is only early days yet so I don’t have much to say. The song choice was nice, you have a very nice voice and the falsetto parts of the song were a nice edition, I have overused the word “nice” in my critique haven’t I haha! Any who, well done tonight mate.

It must be a great honour to be opening up the entire series, and I could tell you did not take it for granted. I felt at the beginning, you were kinda holding back a little but your vocals progressed from there to the end. You've set the bar high tonight. Well Done!

It'll be up to David at the end of the show to decide if Omar will get the Boys Fastrack or if he will have to face the Trick or Treat Randomizer...
Coming now to Kuda's Groups and an act who were recently eliminated over in the States. Losing out on a place in the Top 12, these girls are ready to show what they're really made of. Please welcome... RoXxy Montana https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7A7zZZbGLbY |

Omar Well Done on opening up the third series of this competition. I picked you for this competition as you have a great voice and one that has a big range; you can really go up and hit those high notes. This song to me demonstrated that you can put in a good performance and you can control your voice. It was a great way to kick off the show and I hope you do well in the votes later on as I think you can bring alot to this competition. RoXxy Montana Girls, welcome to the first live show on the competition! I thought that was a pretty brave song choice tonight at times I felt the performance was a little messy and all over the place. I was expected much more harmonies from you girls and something I guess with a bit more power to suit your voices. In the end I felt the song was over produced for you and you were struggling against the backing track. I think there is potential with this group though, however I think that song choice was a slight misfire tonight. Well done though on coming out here and giving it your all. |

Girls, I was quite happy when I found out that you were going to be in this competition, but I am very dissapointed. It didn`t suit you and your vocals at all. There weren`t harmonizes and to be honest I think this was picked very quickly. The vocals were nice but not the best, and I think you are in deep trouble girls if you land in the bottom 5!!! |

Well girls, that was a very upbeat performance! The dancing and the staging was very good to watch. I also liked the song choice your mentor went with even though it was a little predictable but I know that the limits of theme couldn't be helped. That was very enjoyable and I can see that you already deserve the free pass unless the other two groups are just as good as you.

GIRLS!!!! Hello! Now, I can see what you mentor was doing here definitely. I just wish there was a few more harmonies within the group, and some chemistry, because in a group them 2 are pretty much essential. To me it just seemed like there was just 3 separate solo singers, not a group, there was nothing there to show me that you are a group, so for next week please work on that and get your chemistry there and the harmonies spot on to survive and do well within this competition.

2 words: Girl Power! Halloween, but fun. I remember thinking: "What is there to give you..on Halloween night?" It was a hard enough theme for you my girls but you still smashed it. The choreography was impressive. The harmonies were even more impressive, Pingu is deaf. The vocals on that song sounded much more soulfull live and it even looked like a Halloween performance. Great job girls.

Kuda must make the decision at the end of the show whether or not he will be giving RoXxy Montana the Groups Fastrack, or if they have to face the Trick or Treat Randomizer, stay tuned!
Coming to Steve's Over 24s now and an act who needs no introduction, other than she's MA-CHEST-ICAL ![]() It's Sam Bailey http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMl8CrLoPDU |

Sam you are by far the best of the UK overs this year, but Steve you have dissapointed me very much. Those vocals were far too quirky for you Sam, and although I liked the power at parts, the song just didn`t suit you overall and it just wasn`t the best choice. I have to be completely honest and say that if you landed in the bottom 5....you would leave the competition!!! |

The song has a suitably haunting tone to it and your voice just worked so well. However whilst I did think you sung the song really well, I was waiting for the big power moment which really that is your USP as an artist. The emotional content of the song and the story there was well told, but really it remained on one level and it was lacking the power punch of an end which you are renowned for. I'd imagine you're going to be sticking around for a while as a debut performance on here it was ok. I actually think that song would've worked well for Abi due to the haunting nature of the song. |

Sam, now we all know that you have a huge voice, but tonight, and it kills me to say this…. I don’t really think that was you, it didn’t allow us to see your vocals, it didn’t allow you to move really, it to me was very tedious and I found myself drifting off throughout the performance. I am sorry tonight but your mentor got it wrong in my opinion, which is a great shame because you are very talented and I love you but not with that performance I’m afraid.

Sam my powerhouse lady, finding a Halloween song was a major pain in the backside! There were a few songs that were ideal for you but they were all too predictable, so we dived further and came across with this risk-taker. In my eyes, it was a real gamble considering the song title, but the performance and the way you sung it definitely made it up for it. I am tempted to give you the free pass now but I wanna see how well my other two come across. But for now, this was fantastic from you this evening.

Sam, that was rough. I think that your voice is much powerful than that though- I put you on the same bench as the legends. You've set the bar so high on the show so I urge your mentor to really put in massive effort with you. I have one more query. Soppyfan, I don't understand the how the song choice relates to the theme.

Dami Im first of all well done on your win of x-factor. You deserved it. Second of all, well done Tom. That was such a beautiful cover and it suited your vocals so well. Your vocals really were sensational, and I am so happy you were picked as a wildcard. Tom obviously understands you, and I really hope that your make it through to next week!!! |
