I though the peplum looked a bit weird, but the whole outfit was in keeping with the show, and her hair and makeup were spectacular. I thought all the outfits this year have been a couple of steps up from previous years, and this weekend's costumes have been superb.,
There have been some truly dire outfits over the last couple of years, which none of the costumes this series have come close to - the bacofoil one Lisa Snowden wore, and the one that made Lisa Riley look like a car wash brush come to mind, and the year that the wardrobe were obsessed with fringes, which appeared every week on everyone, but there have been other horrors.

Up till last week, i thought the costumes were much, much better this year. Then poor Rachel had those awful yellow trousers and the shiny beret and this week Sophie had her insect costume.

I think that in general the costumes have been much better this year, apart from the occasional what-were-they-thinking!
