I don't know why we're suprised though Kats - we know votes go on popularity but that tonight is just a travesty

ETA: It also means who ever goes into the d/o against her will go regardless.”
Well what do you expect when the ratings are attracting , well who knows ! Certainly no-one who understands dance.....!

Yes, that's true. If they want flannel the could watch the X Factor, imo.

Good idea! The old come dancing might suit them nowadays, I feel like I'm living on a different planet......!
Why don't people like Abbey? Just because she's married to a footballer? I thought she was very likeable on Britain's Next Top Model and has been on Strictly too. I hope Rachel's endorsement helps Abbey's 'image'.
I can see why she was there and worse dancers have the comedy aspect.
I think Abbey is over rated but she is better than Dave, Mark, Fiona Rachel and Ben at the moment.
Looks like the only other one not getting a lot of votes out of them is Rachel though.

I don't know whether it's because they don't like her but they are going all out to save the entertainment value. Horses for courses but Rachel didn't deserve to go tonight as much as Abs shouldn't have found herself in the bottom two
What can you say ? Whoever is voting, makes the decision for the judges. It's not about the dancing at the moment, and that's a shame, but we keep being told that it's an entertainment show so what can you expect from the public who vote ?
They must have a funny definition of 'entertainment' if they preferred Dave's caperings to Abbey's beautiful dancing. I can understand Rachel being there, tbh - she had improved but she is a long way behind the other women: she doesn't point her feet, has not shaping in her hands, etc. Mark had an off night but I have a soft spot for him. Dave definitely should have been there

Its not about dancing and Dave is a lovely guy. See lots stay in over the years based on personality not dancing. He has the likability factor it always wins out. Though towards the end its gets more serious.
No but I don't think the judges over marking helped her. If they had told her truthfully that it was a poor attempt but she was trying she might have got a sympathy vote.
People are funny like that. Tend not to like a judges pet.
A lot of people don't like the rumba and consider it just a load of posing. It's many viewers least favourite dance. Abbey was deemed safe and so people felt no need to vote for her compared to the likes of Sophie etc. I personally don't think she's particularly engaging on or off the dance floor. I don't hate her in the slightest, just ambivalent towards her and I wouldn't be surprised if others felt the same.
Definitely not! I thought she and Alijaz danced it beautifully. Rachel didn't deserve to be there either, but then this happens every year, doesn't it?
