I think they must be regretting the result of the tweets and the article.”

You see how precious Ola is on here so the Jordans can't possibly be in the wrong. Why on earth was the other thread deleted? I guess if it had been to praise Ola only then it would have remained - pathetic.

I wondered where the other thread had gone.

I agree with you having another thread along the same lines is unnecessary and risks deletion as well.

However, I do not see what more Ola can do that won't make it an even bigger issue all over again....there is dignity is silence, and I think she has handled this as well as can be expected.

Wow, she just made it worse. Feel for Karen. This is still all manipulatively one-sided.

A bit cynical, don't you think? I've read your other posts about Ola on other threads, you clearly are not a fan, but is there any need for the cynicism and bitterness?

You have no way of knowing why the post was deleted or if it would have stayed if it was full of praise for Ola. So your assumptions are quite moot, really.

Btw, not having a go, just exasperated that an entertainment programme, and its harmless participants, have generated such a reaction from you. There are better things to be angry about

Ola in her tweets, has very cleverly CONFIRMED the incident under the guise of saying let's move on. Cementing the comment and the apology. Smart gal.

thanks. i missed the ending of the last thread, it wasn't edifying reading, but then its a pretty muddly and unpleasant incident to have 'somehow' found its way into the public domain at all.

In showbiz there's loads of bitchiness behind the scenes so no surprise there is some at Strictly.

Can't imagine why an outburst described as bullying, doesn't it have to be repetitive?

I rather think I had the very last word when I threatened to rejoin DS as Lord Leveson. Thread went *pouf!*

Seb Coe had a very valid point once when he criticised Twitter. He couldn't believe how it had (seemingly) superceded the competitition and had been taken over by celebrity status. Of course he was referring to the last olympics, but what a point he had.

The BBC confirmed the incident so there was no harm in her referring to it when tweeting. She's done all she can; I know some expect her to deny it all or something but she couldn't.

That's not a message from someone who in fact wants to minimise blame and controversy as it points to Karen guilt.

I do not believe DS has a policy to resist any agent who threatens to get legal on a celebrity's behalf, no matter whether material in contention is truths already tested in court. This is a site that generates ad revenue now.

Theres just no need for any of this to be public, these new tweets make me feel decidedly uncomfortable and very sad for Karen.

Not really. She will be rapped over the knuckles for tweeting about it yet again when I'm sure the producers would have told her to stay off twitter and keep schtum.

The other thread was deleted (I'm pretty sure) because it contained some pretty libellous comments which could have rebounded on DS.

I understand that not everyone is a Jordan fan, but some of the comments made on the other thread and about James in particular were getting a bit close to the bone.....

Why do I get the impression Ola over-reacted? I can only hear Karen's words in the jokey tone of someone trying to fit in with group camaraderie.

But hey, it's apparently been resolved. I'd be disappointed if Karen's contract wasn't renewed.
