How do we know she was asked not to tweet? And she clearly asked for the nastiness to stop, she doesn't condone it, so I just don't see what is so upsetting in her tweets.

She may have been asked to say something by the powers that be or even Karen to try and offset the abuse. And she would have only been criticised for not trying to stop the abuse if she had kept quiet so she was stuck in a Catch 22 position.

Knowing what Ola is like, and judging by what she said on Twitter, I'm sceptical about the way the incident was reported in the newspapers.

It's not upsetting but the producers of these reality shows don't like their talent fuelling spats on twitter. They usually put a ban on this sort of stuff.

BIB please enlighten us, as you seem to know her personally.

none of us know any of them on the show and if I come across as those things then you read me wrong. I don't dislike Ola, I just don't look at her through the rose coloured specs that you and others do.

She can't win.

If she kept quiet and did not Tweet or make any statement then she would be accused of not trying to cool things down.

She says she accepts the apology and tries to end it so she is accused of stirring things up more.

These pro dancers are fiercely competitive despite the luvvie duvvieness and bonhomie they try to portray in front of the cameras. It was only a matter of time before something like this would happen.

Wow, Ola's tweet has a really nasty undertone, Karen's 'outburst'. She is stirring up trouble even more, whilst playing the kind forgiving victim card.

Excuse me I do no such thing I don't know any of the pros so again you are sounding rather nasty and spiteful, I think all the pros seem nice enough find me my rosé tinted posts then. I just don't get all this hate people have for people they don't know

In the other thread people were already saying, that she needed to say something, and like you said, now she said, that the whole issue is solved, and stop tweeting Karen horrible things, she doesn't condone it, and she is still wrong.

I think the Jordan hate here is quite strong.

Quite!

The article does not use the word 'outburst', it uses 'argument' which suggests two equal participants!

Bravo, somebody else who can see the wood for the trees. Also, wonder how a woman who's been in the show longer and has married one of her equally ubiquitous colleagues, could be capable of being bullied. What a load of b%%%%%%s. I would say the diva actions and bitching that goes on behind the curtains is unreal. It's a shame they can't do a documentary on it but they wouldn't dare. After all, even though some of their pros do these cheap attitude calendars and others are arrogant arguing with the judges, this is a family show after all

They've done a movie about it. Strictly Ballroom.

The Jordans are 2 of my favorites pros. Not too keen on their choreography but I love their personalities .
I was starting to warm up to Karen this serie.
This is all I'm going to say for now.

Sounds like an argument in which Karen got in the best put-down. I guess we'll never know the true version of events.

I think she could have been more gracious in her wording - we've moved on/ it's all forgotten etc... Not Karen has apologised for her outburst. All she's actually doing is sticking the knife in.

I actually quite liked Ola up until today - something about this whole story and the way she has dealt with it has changed that for me. These tweets have just confirmed it for me.

That's true, and neither have the BBC

If the quoted, 'you're rubbish and that's why you are at the back' is accurate, then I don't see how Karen could be doing anything other than joking, there is even a whole thread down below talking about how every pro dance has Ola or Kristina at the front!

I think the problem is not that she tweeted but what she has tweeted.

If she'd simply said Karen and i have resolved our differences, i'm not leaving the show and stop sending nasty tweets she'd be above reproach and would certainly get no criticism from me.

Instead the tweets are passive aggressive and that just does not sit well with me. She has inflamed the situation imo

1) Why are people praising Ola, for asking people stop sending abuse to Karen? That is the normal humane thing to do- certainly not an act worthy of special praise.

2) Why are people speculating about Karen's contract with regard to this incident? She had a go at Ola and then apologised. It certainly wasn't Karen who leaked the story. In every profession, there will be conflict and disagreement. There will be loads of it on SCD, it's hardly Christian Bale on the set of Batman is it? Perspective everyone, perspective.
