Tamera - I Have Nothing
I thought she did incredible. I normally hate people doing this song, there's only one Whitney after all. But I thought she did really well! Truly earned her place next week.

She didn't deserve to be in the bottom two, her sing off performance was great.

She was incredible. It was a bit touching as well. Poor girl...

She wasn't incredible. She was quite frequently flat, as she was in her first audition. She won't last much longer.

I have to be honest and say that having heard Beverley Knight sing this live at The Bodyguard last night Tamera was pretty dire in comparison.

She did alright but I wasn't too pleased with her attitude for not hugging the KR boys after they were sent packing on the live shows which she should have done

If I never hear that song again it will be too soon.
That's at least the third time we've heard it just this one series. |

It was a good performance, but I agree, I'm SO sick of hearing that song. |

I thought she was stood there looking at them, looking really upset for them, then she was hurried off in the other direction. Not much she could've done really.

Maybe.
It's funny how after years of watching talent shows there has become a sort of script of how we like people to behave. Not too happy when they are through, not too po-faced, have to hug the people who are leaving whilst still maintaining that 'just right' face that they live to sing another week. Rest assured, the ones who manage it just right are usually the ones with some sort of training/stage school background it's not even genuine half the time. And edited to add: the point I'm making is that it's not now about how we think they are feeling inside it's about whether they are seen to do something to demonstrate it. |

I'm pretty sure Tamera will be saying this in a year from now.

Everyone who think she did a good job should listen to the original singer live:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipQ0fE0MRWQ (having said that, Tamera is still probably the, or one of the, best in this crappy competition.... but she's really proved that she's not on a Leona/Alexandra level.... Compare her Listen or I Have Nothing to Alex or Leona.... Tamera looks like bad karaoke in comparison. So she should focus on being the next Rihanna, b/c she's good looking and does have a better voice than Rihanna) |

She did well considering the circumstances and that she could reasonably expect to have not been there. But she did over sing the middle section. I'd prefer she sang something more contemporary and less diva-ish. She was never going to be sent home over KR.

She's great but they're handling the wrong way, this song proves how good she is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URayCz5sUIs Absolutely breath-taking. THIS is what she should be doing. |

I thought she was incredible. Absolutely incredible. Genuinely the most impressed I've been by a sing off performance in a long long time.
In fact, the only times I've ever been genuinely moved by a sing off performance like that have been Ruth Lorenzo's 'Purple Rain' and 'Knockin On Heavens Door' and Lucie Jones' 'One Moment In Time' |
