Maybe they should bring back the above, to sort out the wheat from the Chaff....! They used to do this as a comparison years ago with all the couples dancing at the same time...... I know this then changed to some other dance style( not sure, but think it was Rock n Roll )! However, if it was done at this stage it may act as a cohesive collective view of those who are left, and, without any gimmicks or props, it might, just might go some way to stop the fiasco that happened tonight being repeated..... Oh! not forgetting to use superb music for the dance also.......

It would be a very good way to use the salsa which is intended to be an on the spot dance in which the couple rarely loose hand hold. I agree too that it is a good way to separate the wheat from the chaff and is how professional or amateur competition is conducted. Trouble is I don't think it is very televisual. TV doesn't seem to like multiple focal points.
