Can ipod data be transferred to a Samsung tablet?
My son has an ipod with loads of music on there and want to purchase a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 for him but hoping somebody would know if I could transfer any of his ipod data to the tablet at all before I buy?

You cannot transfer iPod data to android they are completely incompatible platforms.
Having said that there are android apps which can import music from iTunes so it is not too hard to get music copied over. Some other apps are available for both platforms and allow the data to be imported without too much pain. |

Using simple copy/paste should work to transfer music from iTunes library on a PC to a connected Android tablet. As for iPod, when I was still playing in an Apple garden, it was possible to connect an iPod (not touch) as a drive to Windows and then you could use copy/paste again. It's all a one time thing, if you want to synchronise your iTunes library with your Android tablet you would need some app for that.

1. Copy the music to a memory stick
2. Get a Samsung Notebook > Usb adapter cable 3. Transfer the music from ther stick to the Samsung That's what I did! (And vice versa) |

A simple way is to just install the 'Easy Phone Tunes' free app from the Play Store on the tablet and PC then sync them.
That's what I use
