I'm sure this has been done before, but not recently, so let's have another go...

It will have to be special, I think, to top this (Sparks - The Who, from Tommy and Almost Famous).

Back in time I bought the instrumental "If You Loved Me" by Peter J And The Jaywalkers and for a while I played it on my little mono record player. I thought at the time it was the best thing I had ever heard. I was living above a pub back then which was run by my parents, the pub was what was called a "Fisherman's Pub" as we were close(ish) to the docks where the trawlers and other boats were docked. These folk were not the sort you would pick a fight with if enjoyed having a healthy life, they were hard and liked to drink just short of drowning. I puy my record on the Juke Box which had only been with us for about a month and wondered if it would ever be picked. With one hundred records to choose from I was amazed that every night I heard my record get played about five times and on a Saturday night about ten times. Hard drinkers with hearts of gold that loved to hear a great record. Of course when I took it back I was almost taken out and stoned, I put back and it got played to death, wonderful music from a very fine group.
