It just seems to me that she settled for Peter as second best. But what I was saying really was that now I see why she may not be that popular as it appears to be common knowledge even though it was not known to me.

Anyhow its probably best to get back on thread and discuss Natalie's personality...which seems infinitely more wholesome........says with fingers crossed ”

Oh please.....spare us the moralising

The report was in the News Of The World- the likelihood of it being true is slim to none. If you dislike her already though, it's always good to find another stick to beat her with.

News of the World died a shameful death. Abbey had her 'second life' and she grabbed it with both hands. People, if they truly knows her story and the circumstances leading to it, would love someone who turned over a new leaf (or in the case of Vincent, leaflet).

What makes you think she has turned over a new leaf? Because she is simpering in Strictly?

Disliking her more because of an indiscretion not far off a decade ago is a bit daft imo. Ot have none of you evef done things in the past that you have moved on from since maturing and growing up?”

I concur .

Why do you trust the News Of The World? Total scum of a paper. Maybe there was no need to turn over a new leaf, because she hadn't done anything wrong in the first place.

None of us know her, but from interviews I have read, I think she is unpleasant. I find her constant dropping of brand names annoying. She appears obsessed with herself. I would rather any other celebrity win than her.

She's not simpering!

For a beautiful girl, she's very much made of rough edges. She squeaks, squeals and teases Aljaž like a kid on the street corner. She cries and pulls faces when she's scared or upset. She twitches at her posh Strictly frocks like no model should. And have you watched her face in the Tess Tower? She seems really to take part in other people's feelings.

If she's a cheat, I don't know how. She's the most honest of cheats. Her face and her body give her away!

Rest assured that she won't win and will probably not make the finale . Happy now ???

Giving someone a chance?
Judging by what you see in front of you?
Not being part of the stone-throwing crowd?

It's somewhat fantastical considering she wouldn't know you from Adam.

I don't particularly like Abbey. Nor do I particularly dislike her.

She acts like an ordinary fifteen year old rough upbringing but decent enough silly young thing who hangs around the Spar.

And she's actually NOT.

So, you know, I distrust all the 'what you see is what you get' stuff a bit.

But I'm not judging her for her past, and tend to just think 'whatever' when she does her shtick, which she does well, and I focus on her dancing, which ain't all that the judges crack it up to be.

I love how some of you guys here ( and surprise, surprise.. most Natalie fans in this thread ) like to act like the moral police or believe everything you read in tabloids .
It must be nice to have perfect lives , how lovely

Hardly moralising...just my opinion on why she may not be popular. In any case we all have our own moral code and whereas it may not bother you it may others.
lets get back to the thread topic now....which is Natalie's personality.

Read again. I'm simply describing her behaviour. There's nothing fantastical there.

No and I don't think they'd tell said poster they had a piece of loo roll stuck to the bottom of their shoe either.

It started off as a positive thread on Natalie, and now seems to be all about Abbey and her shortcomings.

You say : " hardly moralizing " then you talk about having your own moral code
Aren't you contradicting yourself

There was some talk about Abbey's past - and links.

I'd never heard of her before Strictly and that's where it happened I think.

Natalie appears to be a competent, hardworking, sensible girl, with a great laugh and awesome hair.

A very good dancer too.

Just to bring it back on topic.
