Such lovely furry creatures. Only a God could have designed them.

My cat has a habit of catching prey (e.g. small rats, even a young squirrel) and disabling them, so they can't get away. She then proceeds to eat their hind legs (and tail in the case of the rats) while they are still alive. (I've watched her do it through the window). She then leaves the rest of the body to die a slow painful death. I found the squirrel like that (no legs).

She is the cutest thing ever and everybody loves her and wants to take her away from me.

Really? It's the truth though, nature is cruel. I was in disbelief when I saw it through the window, took me a few minutes before I could pull myself together to stop her.

Do you think David Attenborough shouldn't show the cruelty of nature in his programmes?

Hmm... replied to this but it has not appeared.

What I said was:
Thank you for explaining that you intervened. It was your comment about "watching through the window" that upset me.

Of course nature programmes must 'tell it like it is'....... provided that I am not expected to watch!

Thanks for responding.

I reckon if cats could understand us there tell you that there is no god but there are gods (them)

We have dogs & cats and it's the cats who rule the house, dogs won't move until the cats let them past and even get pushed out of the way at suppertime so we have to feed them separately or the dogs would not have a look in and they are large dogs but soft as they come.
