I got a notification that a small update was available, some kind of download manager. Once I downloaded that, and restarted the phone, it informed me that Android 4.3 and Sense 5.5 was available for download.

This is an unlocked HTC One on EE

Official version is 3.62.401.1 (675.48MB)

Some people have already reported receiving it on branded devices. (They might mistakenly believe that their phones are branded)

Just done mine but now I have a strange N symbol at the top of the screen. Is there any way of deleting it?

Anyone found the settings for Dialer Autocomplete, I've opened up the dialer and looked through all the settings but nothing there.

I got the update and downloaded it no problem.

The one thing that they've taken away is the lock screen options. Bit daft of them.

Swipe the screen to the left on the lockscreen to show the widget screens (as on stock Android) click the large + to add content

The One uses the Sense dialer rather than stock. The Sense dialer has had autocomplete for a while now , you don't need to turn it on. (In fact, you can't turn it off as far as I know)

Aye, I know that, but they've taken away the option to show your calendar/texts/emails or to have a photo slideshow etc.

The option used to be in the "Personalise" section of Settings.

It's now under Security - Notification Settings.

Meant say this earlier but Sense 5.5 is quite a nice overhaul. Both Blinkfeed and Multitasking have been improved a lot. Also noticed that you can now scroll right from the lock screen to view gmail that is very useful. I think we really are at the point now where UI skins are not a problem but actually a benefit. Camera seems to have been updated as well.

Obviously though Android 4.3 is mainly background stuff but it is nice to have the update. Honestly shocked that HTC are already promising 4.4 for the HTC One.

Has anyone who had the blue / purple low light camera issue, upgraded, and noticed if it's any better. According to HTC, they've improved it with this release, but I've heard conflicting reports. For a start it sounds more of a hardware issue, so not sure how a firmware update would help, but also, I don't think it came to (low) light (pardon the pun) until just before the initial software version. Possibiy more likely to get (disguised) fixed with kitkat, or a later version off 4.3.

I will check when my phone is charged for you. HTC UK on twitter today promised roll out of Android 4.4 from end of January so even if it hasn't it not a massive wait.

Downloading the update right now (on three branded) That;'s pretty quick of them! Two updates within the space of a year for this phone, and another on the way within a few months. Not bad at all. Starting to feel like not such an issue now having a branded non nexus handset.

Good times if you own a one

Anyone know how to get a lockscreen wallpaper, now that the option has been removed with the Sense 5.5 update?
