ED - Is anyone else liking Katie since she returned?
I've always blown hot and cold with her and at the moment it's a hot time.
![]() She might have only been away a couple of months, but since she came back they've tweaked her character a little bit. She's a bit stronger, more confident and there's a touch of sassiness about her as well. Even Robbie noticed the difference when he said he preferred this Katie to the simpering bore she was before. ![]() This time last year she was unbearable! Full of self pity, doing nothing but moaning and sitting there with a face like a smacked backside:yawn: It had to be done for story line purposes, but she made for hard viewing.![]() Now, there seems to be a bit of a sparkle in her eyes, she's got her smile back and is being given some sharper dialogue that is making her scenes enjoyable to watch, rather than a chore. ![]() I'm really liking this Katie!

No, I don't like Katie. I find her character inspid and bland. Declan would be better with Charity.

Yes, she's at least standing up for herself now.

I've always really liked Katie, but last year she got insufferable. However since her return she's definitely gotten a bit of spark back. I approve

Nope.
A tin of magnolia paint is less bland. |

I'm liking her. The Macey's have been unbearable for a while now, and I'm enjoying her winding up Declan.

No, to me she's still a boring wet blanket of a character who brings absolutely nothing to the show. Why she's even still hanging around in the village is beyond me given all the crap she's had happen to her whilst living there.

I like her too.
Hearing Robbie say he thought she was sexy makes me fear he might start sniffing around her again and that would be too yucky for words. |

. Sarah could put Robbie in his place.I like sassy Katie too. I don't want her to take Declan for all he's worth though, he doesn't deserve that (and neither does she). |

As she's only had about 5 scenes since her return its hard to gauge if she's still a nause.

I was surprised she settled for only enough for a deposit on Debbie's old gaff.

They're much better growling at each other! |

Debbie has bought the old vicarage. Also, why did Declan give her a cheque to pay a deposit on a property that he already owns? It would have saved on estate agency fees if they had just made an arrangement between themselves. I know everybody says it all the time, but seriously, can't soaps just try to be a tiny bit realistic, just once.

![]() ![]() Katie, now a single woman, is going to move into the house which was the home of the man who murdered her best friend, and also murdered another villager and buried the body on land owned by her Husband. ![]() ![]()

Ive always liked Katie because shes been it for a while and was a kid when she started, its good to see them grow and make mistakes, im sure Betty has noted them all down haha!
They have definitely added a class of sassiness to her though which is better then the put upon Katie of the past. Lets hope they pair her up with someone decent this time. |

Sammy Winward is on The Chase: Celeb Special this Saturday evening.
![]() It's a good quiz show, but too often it's spoilt by people choosing to go for the smaller amounts of money. |

She's at her best since she turned up at Turners funeral, Sassy, full of great lines, back where she belongs - single and freinds with Chas! , can't wait for her to grab Robbie by the balls when he comes a sniffin!

Sassy
there are many words I would use to describe Katie but this is definitely not one of them. Slapper is more appropriate the woman just floats from bloke to bloke grabbing what she can on the way, she was virtually drooling when she clocked the bloke Declan was showing around his properties . Detest the character

I have always liked Katie as a character, but she is much more interesting away from Declan. The writers have made the right decision, splitting Declan and Katie up.
