Susanna has been turning in consistent performances since the start and looks like a real contender . I believe people also have taken to Kevin and like the home grown pro . I always enjoy there dances .

Not a hope.

She seems to have quite a, shall we say, vocal opposition on here (and other places), and I don't think anybody with one of those has ever managed to win before.

But surely Natalie, Abbey and Sophie have just as much . Its just the nature of the beast .

Yes of course she can, but I think it unlikely, though she may well make it through to the semi finals. I have been impressed by her steady, if not dramatic, improvement week on week, but if this forum is to be believed she has a lot of detractors. I don't know why - she seems nice enough to me, and doesn't deserve all the bile and spite she receives. It is odd the way that people take to or against competitors for reasons that have little to do with their ability. I think.I have been guilty of this myself in the past - I didn't like Lisa or Chelsee or Tom - quite unfairly because I didn't know them personally.

I like them (particularly Kevin) and I think she could win, but I wouldn't think she's a very likely winner. I think what they need, and it might sound odd, is for the judges to be more critical. Partly because I really think that someone needs to tell them to tone down the performance a little and polish up the dances - but that's just my taste. But also because it would give her more of a story, something she can achieve.

No celeb over 40 has won.

Then again the oldest champ I believe was Chris who was on Breakfast at the time so ya never know.

I don't think she'll win. Unlike some vocal detractors of Susanna in this forum I actually think she has a lot of natural musicality and decent dance ability and her partnership with an affable pro helps too. But she'll not win I don't think...

No. She is enthusiastic and gives value for money as she goes for it in every dance but she is not a particularly good dancer and whilst she has her devotees I don't think she will win over enough people who prefer other dancers to win.

I think she's a little too divisive to win. I'd say a semi-final boot in the vein of Alex Jones atm.

She's clompy, smug, fake and she gurns. Can she win? who knows.

I think if she works on making her moves more elegant, she probably will make it to the final 4 or 5, at least. And the BBC Breakfast vote is big (i.e. Chris Hollins).

Gosh I'm surprised that so many dislike her. I think she's lovely. Funny, sunny and smart. If I had to pick a downside it would be that she is a little too self deprecating, but I assume that is a trait learned from being a front line woman on television. The self assured feisty women never get anywhere.

I don't think she will be voted for enough when it matters. Could sneek the final but will be 3rd or 4th.

Tom Chambers.....he wasn't well loved on here....but the rest of the world adored him so who knows

I don't think she will win. Having said that I am mightily confused about who will win at the moment which is always a good place to be.

She has been getting consistently good marks, never less then an 8 from Len . I know Len is a voting ass this year but still .

I read Natalie is too good to win and Abbey mustn't be all that popular to end up in the bottom two . I enjoy Susanna and Kevin's dances the only thing is they have not yet produced a real wow dance, although their Charleston was pretty close.

You win the prize! I was wondering how long it would be before one celebrity was accused of being smug. Nothing changes.

You're right. And the sad thing is its usually other women who attack them.

I like them too & would like to see them win personally. I just don't think they will (at the moment)

I think she's improving as the weeks go on, which is what I watch it for personally, so yes, she could, but there's some stiff competition.

Lisa ironically I think tried too hard to be liked - I suspect she's a natural soother I think working alongside Johnny chuffing Vaughan you need to be and it didn't serve her well because she went along with a lot of Bren's rubbish that year, Chelsee grew on me - an insecure and over-exhurberant character not the sharpest tool in the shed but fun and a good dancer it's just a shame her nerves scuppered her in the final - hubbie didn't like Tom but was totally won over his QS 'Town Called Malice' routinue - his dances weren't always amazing technically but he danced they with character - I hated his paso but enjoyed most of his other dances.

I don't think Susannah will win although if Sophie doesn't pick up again or even if she does - i could well see her as a finalist. She's a bit full-on but I've never minded that in a contestant.

Can she win? I damn well hope she doesn't!! Unfortunately She'll probably reach the semi-final.

She's pure marmite and I'm on the loathing side. I was gutted when I found out she was on my favourite programme.

My wish is a Natalie and Susanna Reid dance off this weekend. Goodbye Susanna Reid!

I think Susanna could win, I'm not sure she will. A lot of people (on here anyway) seem to dislike her, but the main contenders for the final don't seem particularly popular either :

Natalie is by far the best dancer, but that made her unpopular from the start, and the fact she has had dance training hasn't helped her cause.

Abbey is improving every week, but ended up in the bottom 2 (maybe just because voters thought she was safe, but who knows?) Haven't heard too many singing her praises.

Sophie started so well, but has gone steadily downhill.

Of the boys, I feel only Ashley really stands a chance of making the final, but will he improve enough to win? Perhaps.

I don't use Facebook but I have a browse of the Strictly page on there after the Saturday show and Susanna & Kevin consistently get a lot of "likes" for their performances. They're almost always in the top 2 or 3. Not sure how reliable an indicator of their overall popularity that is but they seem quite popular on my Twitter too.

Personally, I like them. They're upbeat and clearly get on well and have a laugh. They can sometimes try a bit too hard, but not enough to put me off or anything.

But Susanna's dancing - whilst it's been consistent - hasn't really improved enough yet. And if she gets to the final, I think the difference in quality between her and whoever else is there will show more than it does now because there's a mixture of abilities at the moment. Plus, at some point, she'll need to deliver a stand-out performance that she can repeat and wow with if she does make the final. She'll have to get their on popularity though or face someone weaker in the dance-off. I'm not convinced she could beat Natalie or Abbey at present (or ever) in a dance-off scenario.

Yes she can (I wasn't allowed to say just yes).
