Heard this song today and it sticks in your head....apparently he wrote and recorded it in a day after flying over to New Zealand and watching a rough cut of the the Desolation of Smaug film....the more i listen to it the more i like it

As soon as I found out Ed Sheeran was doing it I sighed...but the song is ok. It could have been way worse. Peter Jackson admits his teenage daughter being a fan is the main reason for them choosing Ed! Though you just know that the studios will have been happy with that choice too. Ed could definitely get more younger people interested in the film.

The music video is now up....which sorta starts as a behind the scenes thing....

The more i listen the more it grows on me I think it might be a slow burner type of song....

I really like it and I like that it's different to any song he's released so far.
