Just noticed Doritos in Asda, and other places seem to have doubled in cost.

200g was £1 a bag - now it's 'NEW' 225g bags at 2 for £4 (or £2.28 individually! ), presented as a special offer It doesn't seem as if you can get 200g bags any more.

I know this sort of thing happens but it's just so annoying

Maybe enough people aren't price conscious or simply don't pay attention but it's put me off buying Doritos in future. I mean, that's a price rise of effectively about 75%!

So do I. I think all the MSG in them helps tickle the taste buds.

They were only £1 when they were on rollback (which was quite often) but the normal price was £1.98. It will be interesting to see what the new size is priced at on rollback.

Can't beat the jalapeño ones, shame they're so pricey
