Can anyone recommend a good tea to take without milk? Not herbal or Earl Grey.

I've always taken tea with milk in the past. I have liked black tea in Chinese restaurants.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Sainsbury's Red Label.
Yorkshire.
Lady Grey.
My favourite is Assam or Ceylon. I don't have tea often though so no connossieur by any stretch.
Twinnings do a mixed box 5 of each including breakfast tea. Might be worth a go.

It's the Speciality Selection that led me to those I mentioned above but I see they have more selection boxes.

Oolong is the tea in Chinese restaurants. It's partially fermented, whereas black tea is fully fermented and green tea is unfermented.

When I had to give up dairy I got started on Rooibos both green and red and they are both lovely without milk.

I like green tea the most. I have it without milk or sugar, and it's nicer than most darker teas that I otherwise find OK with milk and sugar.

Twinings is nice, but expensive. Clippers is a good second best. Both are on special offers fairly regularly, with a small box of Clippers for £1 or Twinings doing a 2-for-£2.

Lidl recently had a one-off batch of 80 Twinings bags for £3, which was good, but they're probably long gone by now,

The only thing about green tea is that it's weak. I have a large mug and half-fill it with water with a Twinings tea bag. Whereas a normal tea bag is usually strong enough to make two full cups.

I usually have Assam without milk, preferably with a slice of lemon but it doesn't need it.

I can hardly stomach tea with milk these days, so any tea without milk will usually do.

Usually have very ordinary tea but green tea is nice occasionally. Plus Earl Grey (which I only learnt recently is based on green tea).

I drink it in a Bodum insulated glass which keeps it hot for much longer.

All teas should be without milk, sadly I can't as tea without milk makes me feel sick, which is why I don't drink tea much these days.

I cannot abide tea with milk. So any sort of tea at all with no milk is fine by me.Yer bog standard PG Tips or Typhoo or Yorkshire are all fine by me.
I like all manner of fruit or herbal infusions and tisanes and the Yogi brand of liquorice tea from Holland and Barrett is delicious. I drink a very lot of that. The same brand of Morrocan mint tea is beautiful too.
Without milk, of course.

Welcome to the grown up world. I am sure milk is only added to make tea (and coffee) palatable to children.

Redbush tea is great without milk. And any other tea as well. Just develop the taste.

Tesco's spicy chai is only £1.50 for 150 bags. Also Twinings Spicy chai is probably better.

Pu'er tea without milk is something I'd recommend. Oolong tastes the same as white tea to my taste buds anyway.

Fruit flavoured green teas by Twinings. Although Matcha green tea is in my opinion far superior to regular green tea.

I actually started a 'campaign' to convince Britain to drink tea without milk on DS

Judging by your post on another thread, I reckon tea with breast milk is more your style

I know niche and interesting teas are very sophisticated but I really don't like them.

Nothing beats lovely (good quality) breakfast blend with a swirl of milk.... yummy.
But that's just me
