A self-induced sugar crash to fix reversed sleeping patterns.
Yesterday I woke up at 3 in the morning and wasn't happy about it cause I had plans to attend a bonfire party later that evening and I had to be perky.
So, I tried falling asleep again by playing the PS3 for a while which didn't work then I remembered I had half a bag of Doritos left. Because Doritos are loaded with carbs I knew if I ate the rest of the bag on an empty stomach the sugars would get absorbed into the bloodstream very quickly and thus insulin would get released quickly causing me to sugar crash within the hour. This actually worked and I had a 4/5 hour nap and woke up about lunchtime. This meant I could go to the bonfire party well-rested. Could be an alternative way to sleep instead of drinking alcohol... ![]() What is a sugar crash ??? - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sugar_crash |

I wouldn't have thought playing the PS3 would be a very good thing to help you get to sleep.
