Are you a Roger Waters or Bruce Springsteen fan?
They both played at the annual Stand Up for Heroes gig, which was live on Youtube c. 1am GMT.
I posted some links etc, but put them in the Pink Floyd Appreciation thread, which in retrospect was not a logical place to post them! It's here http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showt...3#post69631573 Waters plays with a band of wounded veterans - very moving. Roger Waters & the Music Corps Wounded Warrior Band (+ John Carin & Dave Kilminster from his regular band) Allelujah - Leonard Cohen Imagine - John Lennon The Change is Gonna Come - Sam Cooke Comfortably Numb - Waters/Gilmour Bruce's set: Acoustic version of Dancing in the Dark Wait for Me Dream Baby Dream (plays a harmonium!) (He was up for playing another number, but the MC cut him off.) |

Just watched Comfortably Numb. Very good, and what an experience for those lads who did very well.
Great cause, and well done to all those who contributed. |
