Lots of you have Patrick in the bottom two, I fear you are right. Just hope he gives an outstanding performance to gain more support and look like a true contender.

I have him in the bottom 2 even though I'm enjoying his dancing and partnership with Anya. I fear that he may not have enough support from the wider voting public to avoid a DO. If he's against Fiona and Anton, who I think are vulnerable with a paso, then he stands a good chance of remaining.

Now that I have seen the training clips, I would say:

After her dire rumba I have expected to see her go each week. Its the Anton fan base voting for her which I think is wrong. You should vote on the celebrity not the professional. That said I think Anton is a bigger celebrity than Fiona. No offense to Fiona

Why?.... People watch the show for different reasons and some watch because they have a favourite professional dancer that they like to support and like to vote for.

Anton's been knocked out pretty quickly a few times though. I'm not sure it has a massive effect.

Voting for a pro probably has very little effect but if you have a particular favourite pro then people will vote for them still regardless of their celebrity... I know I did.

Rumba was bad. That apart their dances have steadily improved. They've been reasonably lucky so far in as much as having only cha cha of the faster Latin dances but up to the memory lapse that was pretty good. Paso looks pretty good yet they seem to be everyone's favourites to go home on here and have been for a few weeks.

The majority on here don't like Anton, fair enough, I do and have enjoyed watching them. If they stay in, get a foxtrot next week and look absolutely sensational in training vts they'll still probably be favourites to go home on this forum!

Think you're right about his votes keeping them in but I reckon all of the pro dancers who've been there more than a couple of seasons will have fairly substantial personal followings.

Hi Edy. Yes I'm a bit mystified too. I know Anton's popularity is there but I felt Fiona's had waned a bit when being a bit arsey with judges 2 weeks ago and even last week with the 'seemd fine to me' attitude when speaking to Tess. Maybe picking up some of Deborah's vote...

I'm not sure if Fiona will be in the bottom two but I put her there cause I've predicted her to be in the bottom two every single week since she did Rumba and if I don't say her then this will be the one week she'll be in the bottom two. I also think Dave has another week left.

I'm still so surprised how Fiona hasn't landed in the Bottom 2 yet. She hasn't really stood out to me although she has definitely been improving. I guess I've been underestimating her/Anton's fanbase... but I too have predicted them to B2 every week and will continue to do so. I also agree with the post that she's probably gaining Deborah's fans votes.

Usually after a shock-ish elimination, the underdog ends up leaving so fingers crossed!

My EXPERT ANALYSIS of this thread prior to tonight's show tells us that:

- Natalie and Abbey are the two runaway favourites to top the leaderboard tonight, although Abbey slightly has the edge over Natalie; the only other people to have votes are Sophie and Susanna, so we all agree that we still won't see a boy top the leaderboard
- Dave is the runaway favourite to come bottom, with one or two votes apiece for Mark and Fiona making them the only other celebs to be nominated for that
- The favourite dance-off combination is Patrick vs. Fiona, although Dave seems to have picked up a few more votes for appearing there in the last few weeks; a couple of other people have one or two votes, with only Abbey and Susanna not mentioned as candidates for the bottom two at all
- Fiona is runaway favourite to be eliminated this week, although Dave has a few votes in that category too, and Mark and Patrick one apiece; nobody else is mentioned

I would have said possibly Sophie in DO, but I think the Argentine Tango will suit her, all very moody and detached and provided she can get the leg twists right, should be a good performance
