Oh well. We cant expect them to show it if they arent getting the viewers.
All we can hope is that another channel gets it cheaper, such as Living who don't require huge audiences. At least there is still General Hospital - it also needs all the support it can get if it is to survive! |

Oh no this is awful! I thought we'd at least get the first year and instead we only get 5 months worth. I will never watch 5 again!

I have changed my mind, they could have at least gave it a late night slot seeing as they still have episodes to show!
look out for Operation Save SB 2 |

Why don't we ask other channels to pick it up? ABC1 maybe?

Living TV is probably the best option. SB fans are very hardcore and im sure anyone who is one, would get sky or cable if they could afford it just for SB! |

![]() This is just stupid! Im glad i looked at the schedules otherwise it probably would have just disappeared. Seeing as they have paid for the rights for the entire first year, why the hell don't they show the whole year!?

Bad luck guys.
I would be really annoyed if this was one of my soaps.

That's exactly what I was thinking. They really can't expect the show to be getting the ratings that it had the first time during its second and third year. Most people are probably waiting for the show to enter its "crazy phase" before they begin watching. The first year is very dull!

Oh that's really crap, I haven't been able to catch much Sunny B since mid December (due to college and what not, plus the storylines were somewhat...annoying) and I've finally managed to sort out my schedule with some free time and I get this!
![]() This is totally unfair, why just show it for 5 months and then dump it? It makes no sense, what do they fricken expect when it's not advertised. |

We can have this same old argument time and time again yet it gets us nowhere. The argument being the useless way in which TV networks treat US soaps. They buy the rights, then do absolutly nothing to advertise them (no TV, no magazines, NOTHING). They just shove them in the schedule and expect them to get viewers!!! Hello!!!! When will a station actually do something ANYTHING to make a US soap work here....they don't! It's really beginning to bug me, having lost Days of Our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful and now the Sunset Beach re-runs! I've given up on TV...thank god for the internet and dolphingirl!

The UK seriously lacks over-the-top and camp soap operas where the actresses have big hair, big shoulder pads and bigger pauses between words.

There is so little <british> glamour on TV.
Footballers Wives couldn't come back at a better time. |

Why can't Sky bring back Sky Soap? It used to be on until midday when Sky Travel took over. (God, how I loved analogue - timeshare channels)
They could even have soaps on in the morning on Sky Mix or on Sky Travel Extra. |

Well maybe eventually we will get to see the remaining eps shown on Five in 4am slot or something, remember Five axed Sons & Daughters back in 1998 and eventually brought it back where it is now a regular part of the early morning weekend schedules.

I suggested to Five that they might play it when they start a new digital channel.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I've been watching SB since they started showing it again in September and I really like it. If people say this is the "dull" era I'd love to see the crazy phase. This is so not fair, they should advertise it and maybe do an omnibus again or just show the rest of the eps they have in a late night slot. I've e-mailed them, i'd advise you to do the same! The e-mail address is: customerservices@five.tv TV Crazy
