Is it me or is there something inappropriate on more than one level about Brendan wearing that wreath on his napper?

Calling it now - next year on Strictly...WAR WEEK. Tangoes to Long Way To Tipperary! Quicksteps to the Dambusters March! Charlestons to a sombre reading of In Flanders Field! Jives to the Dad's Army theme tune!

Tuxedos in army drab! Tin helmets festooned in sequins! Camo netting skirts! Glittery skeleton hands because we apparently bought them in bulk!

Every dance culminating in a two minute barrage of pyro that leaves people traumatised! Len and Darcey waterboarding Bruno cause he's one of them foreigns! Brucey lowered in from an Apache gunship!

YES

I know

But I could imagine him being only too keen to pretend to be some grand Roman emperor or other by inappropriately nicking an arrangement off the nearest Cenotaph

Lovely pic - thanks.

Great to see Natalie involved - have really missed seeing her dance this year.

Lovely to see everyone from the cast ( well mostly everyone ) involved .
I'm glad to see Natalie (Lowe) on those pics. I miss her on the show

They really are lovely pics.

Those old boys look so pleased to have Darcey in their midst and (call me soppy) it's nice to see Natalie's hand on Karen shoulder after the week Karen (and Dave) have had on twitter. Plus... Pasha in a lovely warm scarf.

Abbey seemed to be the only one actually fund collecting, and she was really brilliant - while Sophie and others stood there making patronising comments, how many coins did that get in the bucket?

Loved the way Abbey mixed in the crowd - banging her bucket on the table and telling the city suits to "dig deep, boys!" (Aljaz silently following her like a faithful hound) lol

Sorry to contradict you, but I remember the VT showing Fiona and Dave actively canvassing for money - and that's just off the top of my head.

"..canvassing for money" Yep. That's the 'proper' way of saying it. Don't think Abbey would use that phrase (she'd just get on and do it.)

I actually found that rather rude of her and they didn't seem like 'city suits' to me they seemed like regular people having a private time at the table and in she barges demanding money. I don't care how worthy the cause, the way she went about it was unseemly IMO. I give money to various charities, including charity collectors on the street but if anyone asked me for money in that way I would refuse!

And as was pointed out Abbey wasn't the only one collecting for charity......and for all we know that might have also included Sophie she just wasn't filmed doing it.

Yep. They are more like 'cardigans' now, especially the IT guys, which I imagine these were. But if they were 'regular' people, as you phrase it, why shouldn't they cough up like the rest?? (Or tell her they can't.)

I know fundraisers now are not allowed to accost people, but it is not so entertaining. Well done Abbey, for realising that.
