A couple of them already are; the only new copy of Earthshock on Amazon is listed for $7,422 and the cheapest new copy of The Two Doctors is listed for $3,708.
I hope that I can finish out the rest of the DVDs before everything goes out of print. I am really, really hoping that the finishing of the DVD range takes as long as possible so that I have a chance to play catch up as it is happening.”
Ahh, this is what I was trying to warn about, particularly the early releases (2003 to 2005) that haven't been repackaged/ re-released.
There will come a time, even in the home of Who, the UK, where stores will run out of certain stories & there won't be any new runs as demand will be too low to bother.
Here in Australasia "The Two Doctors" is definitely not available any more & I think The Curse of Fenric maybe now too.
Others have suggested buying online from another region -it maybe your only option (unless you pay way over the top prices there in the States).
As kindly suggested to me, I got The Two Doctors & The Dalek Invasion of Earth for under 20 pounds from the BBC store (with a 10% purchase off -being my first purchase). Shipping to here in NZ turned out slightly more than the 2 DVD's together(!), but all up, still works out slightly less than what I would have paid in the stores (if both still there).
