Could Emma Willis take over presenting Strictly (and then the World)...?

Emma Willis is a very likeable and intelligent presenter, could she take over Strictly (from he who shall not be mentioned, for fear of being accused of starting another thread about him) since , although she's been given the Voice, I don't see that show lasting ........! Emma has obviously impressed the mighty Beeb........!and would probably not alienate people quite as much as some other suggestions ? I mean Suggestions like John Barrowman.........! Lord elp us......!

She'd make a very acceptable replacement for Tess IMO.

I think I would actually rather her take part in the show ...think she could be quite good, but that is not going to happen for a while yet I fear

I think that's a good idea, she is really likeable.

I like a male / female balance. Not sure who I would like to replace Bruce when he says enough is enough.

Love, love, love Emma, she's my favourite presenter, but she's utterly wrong for Strictly, she has a tendency to get quite shrieky. She is right for the Voice though.

If you want a female presenter though, I think someone like Angela Rippon or Fiona Bruce would be brilliant. I definitely don't want Tess presenting full time.

Also - could she control her language ?

Did not know who she was, but do not get Channel 5 here in Belgium. As I did a bit of Wikipedia looking, cannot see her added value to the panel, but then again, cannot see for most of the Friday panelists what they bring to the party.

I would not let her be in charge of a Paper Round she has become a pathetic presenter imo with her swearing and biased views on BB.

Never heard of her. Unless from memory she's the girl who was dating that ex Blue lad Anthony who won in the jungle

Never heard of Emma until she was on ITT last night, so no idea what she does.

I agree about not wanting Tess presenting full time, but please PLEASE not Angela Rippon - she was a presenter on the "old" Come Dancing, for her to be on Strictly would definitely be a step backwards.

Quoted for truth. Ugh. She also has a dreadful, screechy voice.

I think they'd have Tess on some sort of contract, as I've not seen her in anything else though I don't watch much TV where she'd be suitable for a programme. Claudia must be a free-lance or able to do stuff for other channels.

I can't see them having three women, hosting the show. If Tess stays, as I think she will, for all her faults she actually carries the show, despite Bruce's attempt to cause chaos.
Then it'll be another male presenter.

I'd prefer her to John Barrowman but that's damning with faint praise.

Actually I think that's damning with no praise.

I'd like to see her as a contestant next year

I prefer Tess / Claudia / Brucie ATM so don't change anything.

She's likeable but has a blatant case of favouritism and presenters shouldn't be like that.

No thanks. She's passable doing Smash Hits type stuff, but overrated as a serious presenter.

Thank goodness I no longer watch the Voice.

(What's her Busted husband up to these days, I wonder? Won't mind seeing him as a contestant on Strictly)

No, she's not suitable for Strictly but is more suited to The Voice than Holly was.

Anyone would be better than Barrowman though.

I'm just hoping Bruce retires straight after this series and the BBC announces his replacement soon after so we're not speculating for the next 12 months.

I don't know who she is but I'd say no. While John Barrowman's comments didn't annoy me as much as they did some posters, he was pretty obnoxious, and Emma kept gravitating towards him. Both in word and body language she gave the loudest man her approval and that doesn't seem too encouraging, IMO.

ETA on second thought, it's daft to discount someone based on a brief appearance on ITT alone, so basically, I dunno.

She's an ex-model turned presented (I even remember seeing her in teen mags I bought back in the day).

She's more notably presented the companion show of 'I'm a Celeb' with her partner (Matt Willis who became jungle king and was in the pop band Busted back in the day).

She was the 'Big Brother Bit on the Side' host, but now is the main Big Brother host on channel 5 (though she still hosts some 'Bit on the Side' episodes too). She occasionally swears on that show (as do her guests) because it's usually shown after the watershed.

Hosts a sort of dating type show on one of the extra ITV channels (or maybe it's channel 4?)....

Does abit of stuff on This Morning, sometimes steps into fully host alongside Philip Schofield if his main presenting partner Holly or Ruth aren't there.

Has appeared on other random shows that's she's presented, but they seemed one off shows (or just never got another show).

Is now the new presenter of The Voice for 2014.

Acting. Saw him on casualty (or Holby) as a one off storyline.
Think he might be doing stage acting too.

She is accused of this on Big Brother sometimes. It can occasionally be obvious who she likes and doesn't, and has in the past got flack on Twitter from the show's fans during certain unfolding storylines which strongly divide opinion.

Generally Emma is an alright girl, she just has a high voice that can grate but she's as likeable or annoying as any other tv presenter, imo.

I love Emma but I think there could be a danger of Emma overexposure as she seems to be doing everything at the moment.
