Nexus 7 and slow broadband
I get an acceptable 12 Meg on average on my PC.I have been known to get the same on the Nexus although typically it's around 7-8.However for the last few weeks it has dropped considerably and struggles to get above 1 Meg.Any suggestions as to what is wrong. It's Sky bb if that helps.

Does it improve if the tablet is closer to the router? That might give us a good clue.

indeed it would be a help.
standing right next to the router would help eliminate interference type problems and point to something else. if it is ok by the router then possibly we need to look at changing the wifi channel. there are some great android apps for examining the wifi like this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....wifi.analyzer |
