Do we think sophie can come out fighting today and let herself go a bit more? Become a contender again!?

I really hope so
AT is my favorite dance and I love the song so I'm really excited to see that routine tonight . I hope that she will get into character though but tonight can be her big " comeback ", fingers crossed .

She has to at this point or she may as well go home.

I certainly hope so.

I think she'll pull out all the stops, for Brendan if anyone. If anybody can get her motivated and upbeat, it's him. COME ON SOPHE

Truly hoping she's back to her brilliant old self this week & that wardrobe put her in a decent frock!

Poor Sophie.

Imho its a great pity she got landed with Brendan Where's the Camera Cole who loves himself and his dancing.

i doubt so after seeing her training clips with Brendan lifting her a lot and using a chair - thought I was watching DOI for a moment

Well that's a first, someone who doesn't like Brendan but can actually spell his name. You're unique DiamondDoll!

Back on topic. I hope so, I would really like to see them win.

Thanks.

I think Sophie is a contender regardless of whether her dancing improves or not.

I watched their waltz again last night.
Really beautiful. Sophie looks almost weightless when she moves.
She's got it all going for her.
Just believe it woman
Really want them to wow tonight.

Sophie WILL make a big comeback tonight. I can feel it in my bones.

From watching the training clips I doubt it, she still looks to be rather uninspiring and just doing enough to lift her legs off the ground. I wish she would step up a bit more but after 6 weeks I have lost faith.

I know how you feel. The Charleston was the 'flash in the pan' it seems.

It really is hilarious how people just ignore her other dances and focus on one bad dance so they can describe the charleston as a one-hit wonder.

Her Samba, Cha Cha and Jive were all poor, but she's still a better Latin dancer than Ben. I think people are being so harsh on here because they think she's capable of more.

I dont think other than the Charleston she has had a really good dance.....a couple of them were OK but nothing to get excited about.

I'm guessing her AT will be about the level of her Waltz (a nice but not great dance) and at least better than the Latins. I do think she has journey on a plate and only really needs one good dance in the next three or so weeks to get back in favour, which should be fairly easily doable...

If she's capable of performing a great charleston and a lovely foxtrot, I don't see why she couldn't do it again. I'm really hoping tonight's AT will equal her charleston.

Me too. I don't think her AT will be all that tonight. It's another purposeful and intense dance and that's not her forte. But it won't matter this week and she's got a lot of dances which are more likely to be 'good for her' to come.

She's got VW and AS both of which Brendan can choreograph well to suit her and have mass appeal. She can probably do a decent QS too. Aren't her only Latin's left rumba and salsa? And she can avoid at least one of them?

I agree, personally I think she's had two excellent dances, Charleston and Foxtrot, two decent dances, Waltz and Samba (not to everyone's tastes but I liked it) and two dreadful dances, Cha Cha and Jive. In my opinion, that puts her around level with Abbey, another of my favourites, with her bad dances being the same as Sophie's, although I think Abbey's Cha Cha and Jive were slightly better. (For me Abbey's excellent dances were Tango and Foxtrot, one of the dances of the series so far, with her Waltz and Rumba being good/decent.)

I don't think the Argentine Tango will be her comeback, but it will be better than her past two dances, and I'm not sure it needs to be as I believe she has the fanbase to get through the next few weeks. I think she'll peak at the right time (Week 9/10) in a similar way to how Harry and Louis did. Looking at the dances she has left I think the only one she'll really struggle with is the Salsa, there's the Rumba as well but I think she can produce a decent one if she's more relaxed dancing with Brendan.

I hope she can. Can't see the show tonight or Vote as am working

My current assessment is that she's well overrated but I hope she can convince me otherwise because generally I like the cut of her jib.
