The irony of the whole tamera bullying thing.
Don't people realise that she's just a young girl and all this criticism amounts to bullying in itself.All she did was stick up for a friend but because she's doing ok in a talent show people are trying to dig up dirt about her.Shes just a kid for goodness sake.If she was in the "overs" category then she should be open to SOME criticism but not this.Its an absolute disgrace.
Another story I heard is that she stole some lipstick from boots.Not the greatest career move but the crap she's getting for this too is amazing.She got caught and was cautioned.How many of you haven't stole anything? Whether it be a bar of chocolate from the kitchen cupboard or downloaded a song illegally.
Look closer to home before judging a young girl who you don't even know.

Maybe she shouldn't of done it and we wouldn't of judged her. I think I would actually like her if she didn't have all that going on

Comparing shoplifting... to "stealing" your own chocolate bars in your own cupboard is REACHING.

Bullied? Abuse? Frankly, she's getting it no worse than various others, for example, Abi, Sam C, all the vitriol Chris Maloney got last year (and still is from some).

I'm not saying I agree with some of the more nasty things said, but that goes for the others who get unfair treatment too, yet nobody seems to bat an eyelid about those.

And I'm sorry, but the fact that you say it wouldn't be as bad if she was an Over is ridiculous imo. The contestants should be held to the same standards, I'm tired of the "She's only 16" stuff. Yes, 16, not 6.

So, yeah, I don't like really nasty comments, but that goes for them all, I'm really quite tired of people making an exception for Tamera for some reason.

As for Tamera's past, it's natural that some people will find it hard to warm to her. As I said, I don't like really nasty posts, that's a problem (again with anyone, not just Tamera), but sometimes people just explain why they can't warm to her without being nasty and they're jumped on.

I also think people should really be allowed to move on from their past if they acknowledge it and that they were in the wrong. If Tamera has, fair enough.

Crikey, the negativity towards Tamera displayed has been nothing compared to other contestants in the past - Matt, Cher, Misha B, James Arthur, Chris Maloney, Leon all come to mind.

People tend to exaggerate their opinions on the internet, that's all. The Tamera criticisms I've seen have been fairly muted so far.

Quoted for truth. The most annoying thing about Tamera is not her or what she has done in the past but the uber-fans who attack anyone and everyone who dare not like her. (I did laugh at one who jumped straight into an anti-thread yesterday to condemn the OP for another Tamera bashing thread. It was about Abi. He did not even read the post, just assumed that everything is about his idol. )

When Tamera is abused and insulted on here with the venom and hatred that James Chris and Matt get, then they can complain.

I'd say Abi definitely get's the worst, at least on here, followed by Sam C. But I've also seen Nicholas called a little shit which is just unnecessary (plus, like, he's clearly adorable)

That's very off key. I know I'm not the greatest fan of Nick and I think he's dull but that's something someone shouldn't be saying.

And Daewos as much as I agree we can be a little excessive in our defence of Tamera, we welcome other opinions. It's just that like I quoted a week ago somebody called 'Hannah a whale' and 'Hannah a drag queen' and that's a bit much. Likewise people were laughing at Tamera being in the B2 and it's just a bit excessive. You can dislike her by all means but it's not really justifiable to be nasty. And just because Tamera does not receive uber levels of hatred like Chris, James and Matt does not mean it's alright.

Nicholas got called embarrassment of Scotland in another thread I think both are treated really badly and they are both only 16, yeah ok call Nicholas dull say Tameras past is wrong but what they get called is disgusting

I can't warm to Tamera because she comes across as a tad superior, but also because she is dull and uninteresting. I really couldn't care less if she stole something from Woolworth's or got into a scrap in the playground - she's a child, that's what children do.

I'm not sure why you are quoting me if all you are going to do is repeat what I said. Unless you are being a little obtuse over my use of the word "superior". I was hoping that my usage was obviously deprecating - superior as in disdainful. I'm not even saying she is superior, but that she comes across as superior.

I haven't been called obtuse since school. It was in the days of grammar schools and all the teachers thought they were the smartest people in the world. "Are you being obtuse boy?" They would bellow in a tad superior way. Ah memories!

I agree, the stuff that gets posted about her on here is absolutely ridiculous - especially from a few posters who seem to pop up to bash her on every single thread she's mentioned on, and seem to think they have the right to insult her fanbase as well. She's not even my favourite but I find myself defending her way more than any other contestant.

Hannah too......and its really not called for....the singing should be judged not what they did previously/doing at present behind the scenes

I didn't say she had "no personality", I didn't even insinuate it. I said she was dull and uninteresting; there is enough evidence fro the VT clips to support that. And I didn't say she thought of herself as "superior" - I really have no idea what she thinks - I said she comes across as "a tad superior". This may be projection on my part - she is very attractive in an obvious way and it could be that I equate those sorts of looks with an attitude of disdain. Feel free to analyse that.

My little experiment worked.We had a little discussion about tamera at work and some agreed with what I said and some didn't so I said I'd put up a thread in relation to our discussion and you'll see people almost justifying her treatment (reading between the lines of course).
Comments stating that other contestants get more abuse than her baffles and disturbs me .Does that somehow make it right? I know then let's bully tamera some more to bring her to that same level shall we?
