http://sugarpinkblog.blogspot.co.uk/

It is early days, I am working on another post at the moment.

I am going to put a load of recipes, reviews and food ideas. I am always cooking, my entire Instagram is dedicated to food pictures, so why not blog?

I know you guys will be the harshest of critics, so let me know what you think!

Does anyone have any tips for a newbie?

I've just had a nosey and it looks like it is going to be an interesting blog, I love cooking too and I equally enjoy reading recipes, reviews or looking at photos of anything foody, so I would be very interested in any new recipes/ideas.
Good luck with your venture.

You obviously write well and are a foodie, and I'm sure it'll be an interesting read, but I really hate the pink font. It's painful. Sorry!

Maybe you could use pink as an accent colour instead?

Ok, thank you. I had a bit of a play around last night. At the time of making the writing pink, I didn't have so much pink everywhere else!!
I will have another play later, thanks for your comments.

I don't mind pink generally. It's just that light-coloured font is hard on the eyes after a while. Good luck with your blog!

I'd agree with the others - the blog looks interesting but the font is not good! The colour and the font itself make it really hard to read for me. You'd be far better with a plainer font (along the Arial/Verdana lines, or similar, something clean and easy to read) in black on a pale background. Also, did you write that post in bold? The letters look very thick to me, which makes the exclamation marks look like lower case Ls, and it's not easy for those of us with older eyes to read!

I love your cute logo though, very nice!

It was frothy and fun. I had to make the screen larger to read the pink.

Those colours are weird. I don't know if you have changed them since your OP but you have pink/redish then brown, then the centre is an offwhite with a hint of cyan and then a purple footer

It's definitely better without the pink writing. But that font is still too awkward for me to read - I have to enlarge the screen considerably for it to be readable. I think quirky fonts are ok for headers, but if you're having large blocks of text then it really needs to be in a very simple, clear font.

Love to! Subscribe to my blog, can I subscribe to yours?

I've contacted some local companies and 2 have agreed to let me review their products!

Later I will be making spinach and mascarpone tagliatelle, and I'm making the pasta myself!

But of course! Would love to be blog buddies!

That's great! I write for a big Bristol blog as well, it's so much fun.

Drool, that sounds lovely. I look forward to reading about it! x

I didn't actually have a subscribe thing! Oops. I've added one now. It's to the left, above my profile pic. x
