It has amused me that so many have repeated the error in these forums though. I guess the 17 year old work experience lad is fitting

Little old ladies knowing about 'bye' and the work experience youngster knowing about bye?

Nah, money's on the youth

Natalie has fainted twice so she's not dancing. This is not worthy of national news.”

How many other shows in BBC tele get 10 million viewers on average? If there's not a lot then this would be big news to TV viewers. Why not advertise it.

I'm going to miss her dancing. I'm guessing they will show rehearsal video for her like they do on the DWTS version when something like this happens.

Didn't Zoe say on ITT that they were falling like flies? Kevin had some sort of feverish cold. Maybe Natalie's got that virus?

I agree, I hope it's nothing major as it would be unforgivable if she were to sustain any serious / long term injury as a result of the show. I did wonder at the wisdom of continuing to dance on strong painkillers, as this can lead to a false sense of wellbeing

Maybe Barrowman has 'the gift' after all.

For as long as I can remember the national news on ANY channel has ended with a more light hearted item. Tonight that was about the best dancer on the BBC's flagship show, which was due to start in less than an hour.

That's hardly inappropriate.

Also a trailer for the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance followed the news which was highly appropriate.

Frankly I think your post sound pretty sanctimonious and you seem to have forgotten this board is for discussing Strictly.

Lol you're right, I'm just going purely by the name. Don't know many youngsters called Nora. Maybe it's a pseudonym to avoid charges for crimes against the English language?

Definitely. Whoever has been watching their parents DVDs, and thinks Nora (batty) is funny and a bit cooooool..

Susanna sounded all bunged up in that interview and then we were told Kevin had a cold

I hope she makes a speedy recovery. Must have been terribly scary for her.

I'll miss her and Artem tonight.

To hold on to their strong ratings

And it's hardly advertisement of your show when one of the dancers has fainted.

A bit cruel, but at least this solves the question of who will be topping the leaderboard tonight.

Especially as it happened twice.

Zoe joked they had a first aid station set up back stage!

Just a thought - why do they not do what Dancing With the Stars used to do and show the rehearsal footage for the judges to mark? It isn't as if she'd have to repeat it in the dance-off, since she'd have both the 'she's good' vote and the injury porn vote.

I am so disappointed she won't be on, she is such an excellent dancer. And her bit in yesterday's video clip about football really made me laugh!

Get well soon, Natalie!

I prefer the one week bye for injury and you're out if you still can't dance.

So disappointed she isn't dancing. She is a joy to watch.
I hope she is OK for next week and it's nothing too serious.

Hope she'll be okay. No disrespect to the other lovely contestants but for me tonight's show will lose a little of its lustre.

Just to add: I feel for Artem too; he must be so disappointed.

Fingers crossed its a virus & Natalie will be back to her old self quickly. She's not my favourite celeb, but she's unbelievably good.

100% agree! I don't also think she should be able to get to Blackpool on a "by" either. Shoot me for stating my view tho .

Can't agree with that - there were excellent performances tonight from Susannah, Patrick, Abbey, Ashley and Sophie. Well worth watching.
