Put them all through to Blackpool.........

If Natalie is really, actually, definitely not dancing tonight........! Then how great would it be to send them all to Blackpool, still vote, reveal the bottom two on Sundays (but really Saturday) and carry the votes through to next weeks show, and eliminate 2 couples from the bottom 3 in the tower...... Wow! How exciting would that be....?

That's what I thought too, no elimination tonight and let them all dance next week. That way Dave gets his wish without taking the place of a more deserving (from a dance point of view) contestant.

I can't imagine Natalie dropping out will affect tonight's result in any way so I don't think they should abandon the elimination.

Good idea -- especially since the exact nature of Natalie's ailment is unknown. We could end up with two missing contestants next week if, for whatever reason, Natalie is still unable to take part.

On the other hand Pet, if Natalie did have to drop out, we would still have the 'correct' number of contestants.

Edit: Ignore me. Half a glass and I am misreading everything. Bowing out now

Oh, you mean next week they wouldn't eliminate if that happened? Yes, that makes more sense.

Edit... Not fair. I haven't had half a glass of anything yet

Yes, that would be the fair thing to do.

Simple way to do it is ALL acts go to Blackpool and then next week either two acts go (if Natalie returns) or one act goes (if Natalie pulls out) that way we still lose two acts over this/next weeks shows.

I think sending everyone through from last night would be the best idea and a double elimination at Blackpool. If Natalie can't dance again, they're a celeb down.

BTW, this may be covered elsewhere but is it confirmed yet whether it's three or four in the final this year? Hoping for three myself

Needs a steady cull in my opinion, builds up the competition and the top few improving as the rest get the tap on the shoulder - but the everyone has a pass has been done before

I agree, there would be no harm in them all going to Blackpool and then a double elimination to get it all back on track.

I agree - this would be good!

Think usual rules should apply.

If Natalie is to withdraw, surely that would just mean we have a 3 couple final rather than a 4 couple final?
