No it's one his planned weeks off that he has to have because he can't cope with a whole series any more, announced last week.

No not one bit the shows flows so much better without him and I don't keep having to press mute.

Are you sure DiamondDoll, I seem to remember you saying some nice things about our Brucie not so long ago?
Not me Terry because I cannot stand him.
I cannot ever watch 'live' because there is no f/f button.

Tess and Claudia take over and do a competent job but to be totally honest I found tonight’s show a little scrappy. They both seemed rushed with Claudia over excited and gabbling over everyone and Tess trying her hardest but not quite pulling it off which is a shame.

I preferred it without him to be honest. The show ran smoother than normal and was genuinely funny at times. With Bruce it's too forced.

Aaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhh. Will someone please rid us of this turbulent twit. (BFs most ardent fan is making me sick to my back teeth with yet another wretched tiresome thread.)

He may be your Bruce, and you are welcome to him, he is certainly not mine. I just wish that he would stay away. FOREVER!

I;m not saying I miss him but I can't stand Tess. I like Claudia a lot but she couldn't carry the show. So, who do we think should replace Bruce next year?

Tess is better in Bruce's role than her usual one. I don't have a problem with Bruce when he is there though.

I have a feeling that you will come round in the end Walter, Sir Bruce has so much to offer us all.

LOL

Have you read the other 40 odd posts all saying that they're not missing Brucie?

Ok, I think we all agree it would be better without Bruce ....but let's get a balance. Winkleman & Her don't gel, Winkleman does not let anyone get a word in, insists on shouting everyone down &, let's face it, Strictly is about glamour.....

I do miss him - as much as I love Claudia, it doesn't feel quite the same without him.

Nope nope and nope again didn't miss him one tiny little bit. Hadn't realised he was off this week so a very pleasant surprise when I tuned in.

Think Tess and Claudia did a fab job tonight.and would like to see it as a full time arrangement.

No. Absolutely not. Prefer the show without him 100%! If they got rid of him it would be the best thing to happen to Strictly for years! He's past his best and needs to give it up.

Not likely, considering I have had to put up with him for over 50 years, although it seem more like 100.

I would just like to know what the old fool has to offer us, apart from lousy unfunny jokes, and a rude, disagreeable manner.

I saw him when he first took over from Tommy Trinder on Sunday Night at the London Palladium. I could just about tolerate him then, but now he is just a total embarrassment.

I don't mind Bruce but there's no denying that things flow better when he's not there. If Tess would only keep her inane waffle to herself things would be pretty good.
