As a fairly newbie to these comps, may I take a liberty and suggest that if there is a week off such as this week , that we get double stakes on next weeks selections
Sorry if it's been suggested before

Its an option James but you could also say that in some weeks ( King George and Cheltenham Gold Cup ) we actually do two races in those plus for the Grand National we always double up so its a £10 win and a £5 ew.

I think we will keep it as it is purely because we may get 3 weeks without racing, then do you quadrouple it ? Would mean if anybody got the winner they would almost be guaranteed to win.

Good idea though James, I am liking your thinking, keep em coming.

I think it was 2 years ago we ended up having a good long run without anything. Fingers crossed it wont be so bad this year.

Guess another option would be to have more than 1 race on the following Saturday rather than double stakes on a single race.

Not everyweek has 2 top quality races though, could perhaps save the spare race up for a week with a decent card perhaps?

Sorry Ned, only just noticed this post. That's a good idea. I will keep an eye out for that.
