Beautiful dance

I have never taken to her but there is no denying that that was a beautiful dance by her last night.

Her partner reminds me of Reece Shearsmith

I'm just about to watch it again, it was so beautiful, the dress, the lighting, Kevin's beautiful choreography. Her technique had improved so much and she seemed quite overcome by it all.

Loved it.

I liked it. More powerful than some of the namby pamby waltzs we see on Strictly. Thought movement wasn't always smooth, but overall Susanna is improving.

Thought it was worthy of a couple of tens, it was lovely

I've just watched it again. Lovely!

It was very very classy.

One of the (many) ways I weigh up in my head whether I like a routine or not is 'would I like to dance it'. (I do not take into account the fact I would be rubbish at them all-this is fantasy stuff). So, for example, nothing would pursuade me to have danced that paso with Anton.

But I would very much have liked to have been Susanna for those few seconds.

It was gorgeous. Should have been all 10s

I agree it was the dance of the night

If Patrick's dance was a 10 (with a massive mistake!) this was all 10's.

Where did they drop a point?

Susanna is fast becoming one of my favourites. (and Kevin is lovely too)

I also think this was dance if the night and merited a 10 or two!

It was definitely my favourite of the night. I love Kevin and am warming to Susannah but, most of all, I just enjoyed a beautiful dance, whoever had danced it.

I have not liked Suzannah from the start but last night she was just amazing, beautiful dance

They did well to make an impact with a dance that is usually forgettable or schmaltzy.

I do find Susannah a bit jolly hockey sticks (she's the anti Abbey!) but if she keeps dancing like that I'll hopefully stop caring.

My second favourite of the night (Patrick was first).

Watch it again on youtube there seem to be some 'tentative' parts. But maybe that's what Craig meant a deliberate step call hesitation???

She's lumpy on top making the neck extensions less elegant. Susanna Reid is a decent dancer but in week 7 all those considered contenders should be able to put in a top performance of the easiest dance.

Her top line has visibly improved. Yes, the left shoulder still tries to sneak its way up, but when in hold she's largely correct now. To further make her top line top notch, she now needs to stretch her neck further to the left (Kevin's right) whilst still keeping both shoulders down. Then she'll approach Natalie's ballroom hold (when she's in ballroom hold)

it was exquisite and for once she was quiet.

That's a bit spiteful I think. Susanna deserves all the praise she has received (not forgetting Kevin of course to whom she paid immediate tribute incidentally). She certainly deserved a ten.

Yes, I agree, that was a proper Waltz in hold, unlike whatever passed for Viennese Waltz by Natalie last week, where they hardly touched each other.I'm surprised Len didn't give it a ten because he usually comments on lack of hold, lifts, etc.

I am Susanna too.
If I can tear myself away from exploring myself with my naughty little mitts I reckon I might fit some dancing in next week.

So right.

Susanna has been absolutely stunning in recent weeks. She doesn't make a drama out of every appearance, she just dances beautifully and classily.

Last night's dance was glorious.

I know it wasn't Patrick's fault but any error should drop a point so 9 was right. Has Darcy been revisiting old tapes of Aleshia scoring?!

I don't normally like the Waltz's as they are dull or puke inducing. This one was just right and I enjoyed it.
