1. I'm beginning to fear that this really is a duff year. I can't find much to get excited about without Natalie.

2. I love you, Iveta and think you're brilliant with Mark but maybe learn when to lay off the theming? Cat burglar tango? Yes. MC Hammer cha cha? YES! Spaceman paso? No. Goldfinger rumba? NO!

3. The first 10 seconds of Sophie's AT were amazing... and then the dancing started. Hardly the comeback we were all hoping for but, given what came before, I'll take it.

4. Anya has had the quietest start of all the pro dancers but I think she's starting to stand out as a good teacher with a kind and supportive nature.

5. Enjoyed Abbey's Charleston but it looked better in training and there were a few moments that looked a bit off (maybe the hat prop was distracting her?)

1. Abbey's Charleston was fantastic and the best dance of the night. She gets better each week.

2. Dave did not dance better than Mark in the dance off. Presumably that's why the three judges voted to keep Mark. They always vote on the dance done in the dance off and not on past performances.

3. Darcey has lost her way awarding a 10 for a dance that had conspicuous mistakes. Her attempt to explain her decision making process smacked of desperation.

4. Who is choreographing the pro dances this year? Sadly they're shit more often than not

5. Bruce's absence led to the highest viewing figured this season but he isn't the only one who needs to sling his hook - Len 'I'm a geezer' Goodman needs to sling his, too
