Week 7 - 5 Thoughts
1) Much better show because of no Bruce, not having a ringah and scoring being a lot more fairer/reasonable.
2) Patrick is becoming a nice revelation as someone who is upping up their game but don't agree that he's the best male. 3) Anton completely shown up as a pro which was made worse by the judges sticking the knife in more. 4) I wish Sophie and Abbey were as good in the latin as they are in the ballroom - it is such a shame because it's the only thing against them. 5) I find Mark's latin dancing repulsive and I don't get the hype around him - both him and Dave deserve to be in the dance off. |

1. LOVED the choreography of Abbey and Aljaž's Charleston and him dancing it but Abbey sadly looked lost, I really like her but that was in no way better than Sophie's.
2. Sophie improved on the past two dances, and there was some nice touches, but she's still not as good as she can be. 3. Claudia was brilliant as ever but Tess was even worse than last time. 4. Anya is the best choreographer they have at the moment, really hope she comes back next year. 5. Patrick and Susanna broke into my top three tonight (most likely for one week only since both Abbey and Sophie will be doing ballroom next week, and hopefully Natalie will be back) excellent dances from both of them. |

1) So much better than last week
2) Nobody over the age of 5 should wear a Sailor Suit (unless actually a sailor) 3) Abbey should wear her hair like that all the time. 4) Learning to love Patrick 5) Tess is better than Bruce in Bruce's job, and Claudia is better than Tess in Tess' job. |

1. Sorry? A 10 for Patrick? Really? Was Darcey asleep during that lift?
2. I'm glad Sophie produced a good dance. I think it was undermarked actually. 3. Giving Abbey four nines so early on left the judges no room to increase scores for the others. Abbey's should have got about 34. 4. Poor Fiona. I think she deserved more than Ben. It wasn't her best, but it was up there as one of her better dances. 5. The judges seem to undermark Ashley every week and it annoys me so much. I think he should have been top of the leaderboard tonight. |

The show was better without Brucie
But worse without Natalie. Beginning to wonder if Sophie is so over SCD. She reminded me of Aunt Sally from Worzel Gummidge tonight. During Patrick's dances I always seem to find myself watching Anya more than him, she is fabulous darling! Why must they always dress Mark in a novelty outfit? Can WARdrobe not create anything better. I get that he's a larger chap but sheesh. If he must be themed wouldn't a tux have been better for a rumba that a comedy Bond villain outfit. |

1) Really enjoyed tonight's show, moreso than any other episode this series. The Tess/Claudia pairing is far more watchable than Tess/Bruce and a lot of the couples really upped their games.
2) Dance of the night for me was Susanna and Kevin and thought it deserved at least one ten. 3) Laughed so hard at Darcey's 'Brighton' comment. Have started to warm to her more this series now that she's settled in and dropped all the 'yahs'. 4) I thought Bruno was quite disrespectful to Dave. Yes, he's the least talented dancer left but even Craig picked up on how much harder Dave had worked and his attempts to get some proper Tango content in there. 5) Can't believe the difference in Patrick the past few weeks. He's much more enjoyable to watch now, although the ten from Darcey was a bit of a stretch given the botched lift! |

1. Was so looking forward to Natalie's Jive, I hope she recovers in time for Blackpool.
2. Taxi for Anton ... permanently 3. Is Darcy the new Len Goodman? Judging by the mark she gave to Patrick I think she is, he botched the ending therefore it CANNOT be a 10. ( A pity because if he had nailed the ending it thoroughly deserved 10's). 4. Please Sophie have some acting lessons and try to express your emotions more because you are a brilliant dancer. 5. Mark and Dave are now beginning to grate on my nerves both should be in the dance-off going on tonight's dances And a sneaky six.... 6. Please Please no dance-off for Abbey, for someone who had not danced until SCD she is amazing. |

1 Patrick 10? I don't think so. The ending was messy.
2 Craig's marks were all over the place tonight. 3 Mark was awful. This is definitely his worst. 4 Dave's costumes changes but he ends up stomping around every week. 5 Much better dancing tonight(Dave and Mark are the exceptions of course. |

1. Another joke performance from sailor-boy - sorry Len but 4 is about what his maximum mark should have been for every 'dance'.
2. Abbey's Charleston worth the same score as Sophie's? Surely it was worth no more than 7 in comparison? 3. Audience now appear to be giving standing ovations for just about anything. 4. I am afraid Sophie had about as much passion as a robot and unfortunately that dance was all about Brendan. Sorry Brendan but not everyone loves the Argentine Tango - I even get bored with the professional version. 5. Patrick and Ashley best dances of the night but you shouldn't receive a 10 for any dance with such an obvious mistake and although I would agree that Patrick is the best male celebrity Craig should have kept that opinion to himself. |

1. Loved Patrick's dance and I think Darcey scored it 10 to put it above Abbey
2. Abbey - overmarked 3. Dave not as bad as Bruno said - he has improved and I voted 4 times for him 4. Ashley scowl at the comment about Patrick being best male dancer 5. I am so sick of Ben having to touch one of the judges every week |

1. Lovely choreography, music, dress and emotion from Susanna and Kevin's waltz
2. Sophie could take a lesson in how to express her emotions from Susanna 3. Iveta speak to Erin on trying "different" choreography, and how much it works 4.Ashley is turning out good dances and is consistent every week, I think he's being undermarked 5. I want Dave in another week

1. Patrick deserved top spot. The character and style of that dance was something special. Yes the lift at the end went wrong but if it was a wardrobe malfunction, he can't be held accountable for that.
2. Ben, Fiona, Dave and Mark (even if I love his character) really lagging behind now 3. Sophie showed a lot of promise with that AT (great choreo Mr Cole!), it just fell a little short in the end 4. Big improvement again from Ashley 5. Nice to see Susanna earn her score for a change |

I've watched every main show and every episode of ITT since 2006 without using the fast forward button until this year....and it's not just the fault of Susanna Reid.
This is the weakest line up that I've ever watched. (2006 onwards) The studio audience are doing my head in with the whooping and clapping during the routines. This is Strictly, not X-Factor. Len is fortunate that he's not been decked by Craig. Gutted that I didn't get to see the Jive by Natalie. |

1. Patrick was sensational tonight, and if he hadn't have messed up the last lift, I would have given him my first 10 of the series. A shame, but he is fast becoming one of my favourites now.
![]() 2. It wasn't perfect, but there was something about Sophie's Argentine Tango that was really captivating to watch. Not brilliant, but the first real 'wow' moment of the series for me. ![]() 3. Abbey and Ashley were both great but both slightly overmarked. Abbey was good but not quite Sophie-good, and Ashley's dance left me feeling somewhat underwhelmed. ![]() 4. Mark was terrifying tonight - the combination of the bald head, the ugly catsuit and all the pussy references left me feeling slightly ill. ![]() 5. Anton needs to be sacked. I know Latin's not his forte, but for Christ's sake, Fiona out-danced him for the second week in a row. If he was put with Natalie, she would look so much better than him it wouldn't be funny (well, actually... )

1. Claudia was much better than Tess in the anchor role.
2. Tess was not an improvement on Brucie 3. Len made a complete mockery of the show by giving Ben an 8. 4. Anton is the weakest pro. 5. Anton is the nicest pro. |

1, I was looking forward to Natalie's Jive, but found in the end that I didn't miss her on the show.
2. Mark looked totally subdued with that Rumba - maybe having no hair made him look particularly vulnerable. 3. Abbey's wonky wig and hat shenanigans was in danger of masking the fact her dance was actually rather good. 4. Poor Sophie ![]() 5. OK, his learning curve is a lot steeper than some others, but Dave is really, really improving. Two recognisable dances on the trot ![]()

1. The presenting was a lot better without Bruce...
2. but the dancing was a lot worse without Natalie. 3. We have a very average cast this year unfortunately. 4. SHUT UP Brendan you graceless fool. 5. The hair suited Abbey. |

1. I was pleased that Craig marked Ben sanely for a change - at least I can still rely on him.
2. The other judges were ridiculously generous for the first half then calmed down in the second half. 3. Better from Sophie, hope she's got the public vote though as that's a nasty-looking leaderboard. 4. Susanna really deserved her high scores for a change. 5. Seriously, the scores and comments for Dave must be an attempt to get him out. The head movements and 'prowling' were laughable. |

1. The line truly drawn tonight between the contenders and those in the queue at the taxi rank.
2. Really enjoyed Susanna for once - and she deserved her marks. 3. Patrick is mostly invisible to me but tonight he shone. But a 10, Darcy? No. 4. Claudia had me a-chuckling. 5. Memo to producers: please stop urging the studio audience to stand up all the time. I remember when an ovation actually meant something; these days contestants are beginning to look startled when it doesn't happen. |

1. Tonight, for the first time, I felt Susanna and Kevin looked like serious contenders. I saw elegance and refinement in Susanna's dancing which I hadn't seen before. It was a wonderful Waltz, deserving of at least one 10.
2. Yes Sophie still has to bring more passion and energy to her dancing but her Argentine Tango was a marked improvement on recent weeks. She created some beautiful lines I thought. Fair comments, fair marks, a step in the right direction. 3. Abbey & Aljaz's Charleston didn't quite live up to the hype for me. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, thought it was well performed (in the main) but not without its wobbles. I wouldn't have had it joint 2nd with Susanna. 4. Nothing against Patrick, nice guy, want him to shine, but there was clearly a 'moment' in his American Smooth so what was Darcey thinking giving him a 10? 5. Forget John Barrowman, Anton, Vernon etc as possible Brucie replacements. I think Tess does a fine job slipping into his shoes. And Claudia does a better job slipping into Tess's. |
