Disagree. She's the highlight of the show and always delivers.

She's a great singer but was there any need for Dermot to say Celine Dion was a Sam Bailey impersonator, personally I thought it was a silly thing to say and Celine Dion doesn't impersonate anyone.

Totally agree!! Yeah she's a good singer but I really do not understand they hype over her!!

I just cringe any time the judges say that a contestant is better than a real singer. It's never the case!

While I don't understand the hype either (she has an incredibly ordinary tone and style), she tries her best every week and really does give a good vocal performance. Also she's far more talented than that Tesco lady who did the same thing week in week out never listening once to the critique the judges gave her.

Same, especially if that singer is going to be a guest on the show. Don't know what planet they are on to think Sam's better than Celine or Abi version of Kylie's song was better than the original.

I dont think she is a pub singer

but it would not suprise me if she has used her song list from her time on the cruise ships or clubs

every song she has sung on XF is along the same type and can be heard on every crusie ship and club every week

IMO a one trick pony, belt out the big songs with the big notes with no light or dark to the performance

Remember what happens to winners that flop with their debut albums. They get ridiculed.

She has a fantastic voice but she's consistently been given dire songs, with New York New York being the absolute worst. The only decent song she's had was last week's disco song, everything else has been dated, turgid, utterly unimaginative crap and it really is getting very boring.

NY NY is a great song but it's not the right song for her (or any woman to be honest) She belted it out and you can't belt that song.

I find her control pretty poor
