I'm new to Strictly. Somehow it's managed to pass me by until this year, so I've no real idea if the marking is always this inconsistent. Is it?

I can't actually fault them for marking Ben down this week, but it's a wildly improbably drop from the surprisingly stellar marks he got earlier. Poor old Fiona may not be be the most interesting dancer to watch, but doesn't seem to get much credit for doing a decent job. Much as I loved Patrick's dance, I can't understand him getting a 10 for basically nearly dropping Anya in that last lift.
