I feel bad for Luke
What a rubbish theme for his voice. They could have at least arranged the song to suit his voice but all they did was try to turn him into that type of singer.
When can the theme be "Sing the style of music you want to" |

I thought he was excellent - how they gave him such awful critique yet Nicholas such amazing critique absolutely baffles me

Don't get me wrong I love him and he's my favourite but I just wish he would be allowed to sing something he'd actually be likely to sell.

I agree 100% - I was actually surprised by the criticism he got. Luke has a raspy rocky tone and he did the best he could do and the last part of the song was really good.
I can't believe the likes of Nicholas gets praised week in for his dull interpretation of songs (IMO) and Luke - who has tonnes of stage presence, a distinctive tone and marketability is thrown under the bus |

Because Nicholas's performance was effortless - zLuke's came across rushed and shouty. |

Tonight really showed Luke's weaknesses.

I also was shocked at the criticism poor Luke got, I thought he was great. And if he wasn't aware that he should have been "behind the beat" whose fault was that? Do they not have vocal coaches during their rehearsal??
Bless his poor little deflated heart ![]() xx |

Gary and Nicole were completely right. He was out of time. The choruses were excruciating. I usually like him though.
