I know some people say its outdated songs (Still better than most of the Urban Garbage that dominates the charts these days) but Big Band is essential for the show and should be done every year.

Some of the performances may be bad but it really highlights the strengths and weaknesses if each voice, there is very little to hide behind because they have to perform with live musicians. It really shows who has the real talent and who is hiding.

"urban garbage" is what sells, honey.

Most of tonight has either been a snoozefest or completely wrong for the act.

real musicians like Sam Callahan, you mean?

A theme that suits a poor singer, fantastic.

It might sell now but in the grand scheme of music Urban is just a flash in the pan.

The theme is important. Could an Urban singer like Tulisa (Apparently) Rock Big Band...highly doubt it

Two themes normally sort the chad from the wheat, disco and big band. No where to hide.

All acts have excelled.

Brilliant show. Live music, no binding behind lip synch backing tracks.
