Like Shirley Bassey sang - " Is History Repeating " - Is Brenden The Common Denominator In Sophies Slipping Away?

Brenden is without any doubt a very talented dancer, he has spent his time with Anton well and learnt a great deal.

Unfortunately we have seen him start out with genuine contenders 3 years in a row now and each year we have witnessed that his partners start to slip away with the same characteristic loss of confidence, lack of belief, with them fending off anxiety and displaying an alarming and rising disenchantment with proceedings and their role on Strictly Come Dancing.

As History has been repeating itself three years in a row now, do you think it has dawned on him yet that he might be the Common Unfortunate Denominator in his dancing partners slipping Away and eventual premature exit from the show ?

After tonight's embarrassing tantrum from Brenden on Strictly Come Dancing no one can possibly try to claim that history is not repeating itself.

The only time Brenden is happy is if he gets praised to the rafters and gets scored a 10, unfortunately 'praise' and '10's' have to be earnt and deserved and do not come automatically just because an ego expects and demands them as a matter of right.

I am a realist not an apologist, which category do you fall into ?

I was one hundred per cent with Brendan tonight. He's grown up a lot, probably since becoming a father. That wasn't a tantrum as some people are calling it; he was merely saying what have they got to do to get the recognition. I thought their quick step was under marked last week as well and she danced that beautifully.

I read that as "Is Brendan common?"

Agree with this thread Terry.

However are you considering Lulu a contender?? =/

Sophie should go soon. Many defended Pendleton last year when she was clearly the worst celeb remaining. Sophie is not bad yet. She can still save it but if she does not she has to go. Seeing Sophie win when she is earning poor scores will just dampen it. Come on Sophie

These anti-Brendan / pro Anton threads are the only thing common Terry.

No he isn't, he's not even in my top 4. More ego than talent

I think he is a suberb dancer< I like him being in the show and I enjoy most of his choreography. But being a good teacher is something else. Its a different sill set and just because someone does something superbly doesn't mean they can teach it to others.

Following Brendens Latest Appearance On It Takes Two There Are Those With More Dancing Nouse Than I Stating That As Well as Not Being Very Good At Including His Pupils In His Creative Thought Processes, That His Cheoryography Is Also Mildly Ridiculous.

What Are Peoples Opinions On This Latest Assertion ?

Is This why History Keeps Repeating Where Brenden And His Dancing Partners On Strictly Are Concerned ?

I presume that the OP constantly managing to spell Brendan's name incorrectly is done on purpose for some strange reason.

the only history that is repeating itself is Terrys insistance on starting a brand new Brendan thread every week

It's rumoured that Sophie and Brendan are topping the public vote.

I wouldn't mind Brendan winning just to annoy Terry!

Or re-hashing the same thread again and then again.

There's another thread about it, I didn't hear the rumours myself. Just repeating what someone else said to be honest. See the thread titled 'Big Gamble On Sophie To Win.'

" More ego than talent " That's An Interesting Observation, And not The First Time I Have Heard It.

Do You Think That His Ego Has Grown As The Years Have Gone By Confuddled ?

I like you Terry, but this is based on the facts that I believe your posts to be tongue in cheek?
Firstly you insist on spelling Brendan's name wrong !
How can you sunstantiate your statement that his ego is bigger than his talent. Brendan is amazingly talented, his results and World Ranking as a pro dancer speak for themselves
The Pro dancers I know say he is a lovely guy
