There were a number of points on this thread which I read and thought yes I agree with that:

l) I hope Natalie is well again soon
2) She appears to be a perfectionist and that may not be helpful to her health, but she obviously loves dancing so she would want to do her very best; as she had to give up dancing before because of health problems she should take extra care now - it is better to be healthy and in the competition, albeit doing less strenous dances, than making herself ill and having to withdraw altogether
3) I did like the fact that it meant a more equal spread of ability which added a more competitive edge last night rather than having one person who was obviously streets ahead of the others
4) The level energy expended on the dancing between Natalie and Fiona may be different and, correctly, the relevant pros should take this into account - they cannot do others surely. I am a similar age to Fiona and I could not keep up with my much younger daughter on the stamina front!
